@@theguardianarchives433 Never really took Tekken seriously before 8 outside of playing offline with a couple of friends, but it was Heihachi mostly and then briefly Heihachi/Forest/Ancient Ogre in TT2 and then Heihachi again all throughout in T7. Wasn't feeling Reina or any of the other Mishimas in 8 and I've always loved Bruce Lee/Law aesthetically, so I thought I'd pick him up now instead.

I played a Law mirror match yesterday and it was close but every time he got up, he would instantly do this and interrupt my oki. Tried labbing and thought it was something that you can do from grounded state but I couldn't, now I know. Thanks Lambkin!
Sounds like he was probably holding down when getting up, causing him to recover in crouch and then ripping the 4 after the down input. The technique is a bit different from this :)

I was noticing something similar with crouch 1/2. If you input Down-Back the crouching jab is pretty much instant. It's helpful to stop from doing while-crouching attacks unintentionally.

Sadly this method has a lot of problems with qcf stance characters. (leo, drag, paul, nina) because in this game d,df gets read as a full qcf for some reason a lot of the time. Luckily specifically with leo because there isn't a back sway input you can just do the same thing but using db instead of df.
Yes and no. Doing df is a good fast way to enter crouch, but you’ll still have to do the manual slide input using this method. So you’ll still be limited by how fast/ precise your slide inputs are 😄👌🏻

Great video man, you got any tips how to pressure after Dragon hammer? I can't seem to do ws4 or slide consistently after recovery
Practice makes perfect you can also use b3 or b4 as a mid check after dragon hammer if people try and step after it.
But it still adds like 7-8 frames to the move based on your input history right? So ws4 becomes like a 18-19frame move
