I like the detailed informative nature, but your body was in the way of so much that you were trying to show during this video and you being on screen was more distracting than anything as a result of this. Still a fan and like your videos, but just thought I'd share feedback
not only did Mario have the Biggest buff between Brawl & Smash 4, but it was the biggest buff in the series!
This is proof that goes to show that Mario never truly gets the respect that he deserves as Nintendo's mascot. :/ Heck. Even Luigi receives a lot more respect than his own brother Mario does. Why the hell did Mario have to be a freaking bad character in Brawl in the first place? Excuse my language.
The main reason why Mario was so bad in Brawl is because that he was no longer touted as the most balanced character like how he was originally portrayed in Smash 64 and Melee back then. Especially since his overall KO power and recovery were the worst that they've every been in the entire history of the Smash series. Basically Mario went from being fairly balanced in Smash 64 and Melee to being severely underbalanced in Brawl back then. That's why Mario is basically an average Joe type of character in the first two Smash titles where he's simply ranked as a Mid Tier character in both games.

Nice video! I think the editing got better as the video progressed; the beginning had a lot of things on scrren which made it hard for me to focus. I'd recommend u being on the sides of the screen more when there is gameplay so it's easier to see what you're describing. Good luck with everything and thanks for the entertainment!!! :3

Mario already excels in being one of the most famous video game characters out there in the entire world, so he doesn't actually need to excel in the ability department in the first place. The reason why Luigi excels in the ability department instead is because that he used to be pretty overshadowed by Mario especially from the NES to the N64 era where Luigi only practically owned one game to his very own self such as Mario Is Missing. LOL

I think that I'm practically the only one (or one of the very few people) who actually ranks both Mario and Diddy Kong pretty high up on my personal favorite character list since I find that most people end up ranking them both much lower on their favorite character lists. LOL No one has mentioned Luigi's name so far, but he's also ranked pretty high up there on my favorite character list as well.

I'm so bummed that False Swipe continued to focus purely on Pokemon when they made such great retrospective Smash Bros videos. I don't care about Pokemon so the three or four Smash videos are all I've watched.
I like this video and I love Mario and you Honest Content are so amazing, Fantastic, and wonderful and Mario is one of the best characters in super smash bros games and I love playing as Mario this video is fantastic and wonderful it makes me feel like that I can watch it as many times as I want and I also agree that super smash bros ultimate Mario is like the same version as super smash bros 4 Mario
Fun fact: Master Hand in Smash 64 is the only character in the game to have a side special

The green screen and visuals in terms of the videos or images in the background added onto the enjoyment of this video. New style or not, really added to the entertainment. Everything you said in this video was correct though, you really know your stuff. I prefer Smash 64, For Wii U, and Ultimate as games, I always felt like with Melee and Brawl, most of the low and some of the mid tier characters felt in complete, they have moves that look like they should do a certain thing and then they do something complete different or do the opposite. Mario's Back Air in Melee for example, has a hitbox that sends them forward, it is a good move when you do get that version of the hitbox, because it can create more situations for getting another combo going or getting a tech chase read, but honestly it just doesn't make since.
I think Ultimate has a really clunky feel to the movement, and Smash 4 was too slow. Every Smash game has it's own draw backs but in terms of my own style I just prefer when I see a certain move and it does what it looks like it should do, unlike Brawl Mario's Fludd, or some of Melee's different hitbox angles. Don't get me wrong there are some moves in current Smash games that have opposite hitbox angles when not expected and we're all like "wtf" but it just seems less often.
I think Wave Dashing is amazing and wish it was a thing in Smash Ultimate because it would make me enjoy the game more.
5:23 advice for future videos, dont completely cover what you are trying to show with your whole body

Love your content man but gotta throw out some suggestions. Being centered in your commentary is a little distracting and makes the usually centered smash camera hard to see. Especially during your move showcases. 😊Otherwise i definitely can get behind you putting yourself into your content. Much respect for what you're doing man!

I remember that I was actually listening to the "My Moment" song by DJ Drama for the first time while I was finally waiting for Mario to be a good character before Smash 4 was even released back then. LOL I understand why Mario's character abilities were pretty average/standard in Smash 64 and Melee, but he was severely nerfed so bad in Brawl back then it's not even funny. Mario is NOT supposed to EXCEL in any particular stat in the first place since he's supposed to be THE all-around/well balanced character aka the Jack of all trades/Master of None type of character. Since he doesn't have ANY outstanding (has some above average) strengths and doesn't have ANY crippling (has some glaring) weaknesses at the same exact time, he'll never be ranked as the single best and/or worst character in Smash history.
(The Good: Combos, Speed) (The Bad: KO Power, Recovery)

Mario is gpod in all Smash Bros. Game & Changes are made for him is the fearest & Not Bad (IMO), Unlike Melee to Brawl Huge Nerfs Changes to Jigglypuff, Ganondorf, Samus, & Link.
I just think that you want to believe that Mario is good in every Smash game. LOL However, the truth is that Mario is only a GOOD character in Smash 4 and Ultimate since Sakurai decided to fix up his below average character abilities from the first three Smash titles. Especially since he's pretty close to actually being a Low Tier character in Smash 64 and Melee (especially in Smash 64). Yes. He was, indeed, severely nerfed from Melee to Brawl, according to Smash Wiki. Since he almost has no type of combo, KO Power, and Recovery options in Brawl. That's why he's considered to be a Low Tier/bad character in Brawl.
