0 working you r so lucky
woooow!! thank you very much! it is really helpful! i never thought my earphones will work again!
good hack but turn the music down/off
I stopped watching less than a minute in. The music is not only superfluous , it's disruptive. The other issue -- and at least as important -- is the quality of the audio. For a DIY-er, producing a video about fixing audio equipment and committing these two errors earns an "F".
jsut mute the video and turn on the subtitles
u need to clean the wires that u have burnt and then solder it in this way u will remove a lot of excessive resistance due to carbon layer
Thank you so much! The left side of my headphone stoped work and your ideia to burn the wires help me to fix it

Thank you !!!
how do u know ...which is which wire??? mine has four wires green , blue , red and golden ... how do I know which is which
RoyTecTips .... I saw that video too but I m not able to identify the wires. how do I know which is which ?
Good morning. find out ground first . you need a multi meter or wire tester for it. ground and left / right speaker Resistance is same and less than 30 ohm . but with mic it near about 1K - 2K Ohm. I will upload video how to DIY simple wire tester and find out which wire is what. :)
RoyTecTips its already night hahaa....
Usually green and blue are left and right, golden/copper is ground and the other one for mic.
this make the 3d sound???

Sir when i try to solder very thin HEADPHONE wires after removing their insulation coating with fire, the solder does not stick to the thin wires and it forms a kind of ball and fall down, please give me a tip which flux to use, i use just a standard one from one of electrical shop owner given me, i think the flux which i am using is not good. can you help me with my problem.

bro I need your help I have mi in ear basic ear flat wire earphone I'm trying to repair it but when I strip the wire there is 4 wires red, blue, and 2 ground wires one is thick and the other is normal size so how I'll know the ground and mic wires btw I'm trying to repair a trrs the one with mic
Hand made jack is awesome
Literally just ruined my whole earplugs thank you!
People, after years of experimenting, I have finally found the BEST way to solder these tiny headphone wires
1)Firstly strip the plastic wire housing.
2) Next apply PAINT THINNER on each of the tiny wires. Wait for it to dry(2 mins).
3) Then grab a soldering iron, put some solder on it, and run the tip of the iron through the wire in a DOWNWARDS DIRECTION -the wire should start bubbling - this actually gets rid of the enamel coating as it sticks to the solder. Let this solder drip on the table/remove this solder. (If you use lighter to burn the enamel, you don’t actually remove the enamel - you just melt it, which is why people find it so hard to solder these wires. )
Now, you have actually REMOVED and TINNED the wire (which is impossible if you use fire to melt the enamel)
At this stage you just need to connect the tinned wires together and solder. `
Dude you're a god of earphone
Does the headphone speaker and Mike have a plus minus sign?Where to put which wire out of two wire
Excellent
