Hey Nick, I love the ornamentation. It really brings the tune alive. Our fiddle group does that song. I usually play guitar backing. Can't wait to get this worked out on harmonica! Cheers!
Hi 👋 Nick Ah this is a neat wee tune. The tongue split's, vamping, triplets and bends in 2nd position really bring this tune to life 🎼😁. Part's remind me of old sea shanties. Thanks Nick , great lesson, got my Celtic Heart a ticking. 🏴👋🎼🎶🎵🎶👍
Hi Love your tuition. Can you suggest a small portable amp suitable for playing folk hasrmonica? I play in pub folk sessions in the UK and need just a little bit more volume to be heard. Many thanks Pete
@@peteban The Blackstar Fly3 is nice and clean and quite warm and reproduces harmonica tone quite well for a small amp. It's small and sits easy on a table, and you can attach an extension speaker. If you want something with more wattage, maybe some kind of battery powered Yamaha, say one of the battery-powered amps from the THR series. A larger amp I recommend that would sit under the table is the Laney Alfresco (with the single speaker). It's a two channel amp and may be more than you need but a nice acoustic amp.
Hey Nick perhaps you can help me with this. You say the first tune is in 1st position, C harp. So I look at a C harmonica postion chart and the "C" notes are 1 blow, 4 blow, 7 blow and 10 blow yet you dont use any of these notes. I don't get how your playing in 1st? The positions have always been a mystery to me, Thanks
@@HarmonicaForTheSoul Nick I have watched your video before and I wish it helped. I simply find the position thing like Chinese! I will get it someday. Thanks for the reply and keep harping
Good work mate, great video ❤

My greetings to you, from an Andean country!!!
Nick, it's great the way you can really work a tune like this. Fun! Thanks, brother.

Do you need a battery amp or can you plug it in?
