Just got one, really pleased, step is great for paddling, we leave the seat and step on it permanently, does not effect standing , you can change from kayaking to suping mid trip and vice versa, just got hammered last trip, everyone on the beach wanted it, could not reccommend it high enough, great for learners and including everyone in the fun, good for SUPers, but includes those too scared to SUP, they can kayak instead, lastly a tough and quality product
Sorry for the late reply. There are actually two models of this board. The three fin model is package with the seat and footrest. While the one in the video is not although it can be added. Odd we know but it is what it is sadly.
Thanks for watching. It's something we've considered including in our tests. As for the construction ie: single or double layer these are quite out of date terms as nearly all brands now use a fusion outer PVC layer on top of their selected drop stitch. The result is they are not made up of multiple layers however thickness of material does vary. Layers created through the use of stringers can play apart in some brands but these again are not complete layers and depending on their placement affect the stiffness of a board in different ways. The same can be said also for seconday stiffening systems such as Red Paddle Co's RSS or Starboard 'Airline'. Double Chambers can also play a factor.

There are two versions of this model; the SUP-Yak supplied with the seat has a thruster fin set up (three fins) and the SUP-Yak without the seat has a single centre fin. Why Tahe choose to do this we are not sure, however, our guess would be that that the thruster fin set up requires less water depth to paddle in and therefore is easier for the would be paddler to sit on when launching and recovering.
If anyone looks up ANY other TH-cam video in this same SUP- ( KAYAK) They will see a seat amd foot pad. Did this reviewer even think for 5 minutes? Is the company paying you for this? I hope not.
Yes, this model is avaiable with a different fin arrangement and a seat and foot rest and goes by a different name called the Tahe 10'6 SUP-Yak. The model reviewed is the version without the seat for those that would rather stand and save on the cost of the seat and footrest. Our video reviews (and the boards in our test centre) are not paid for by any brand. Not quite sure what you gripe is with our review?
It does work well with a seat and foot rest. Foot rests are critical to having a good experience with a seat. If you feet are not braced, then you end up twisting in the seat as we have said in our review. We suggest you watch our review again and listen to what is said as you seem to have misheard it as this third comment. Best of luck with your board.

I wish you would add a bend test in your review and include what type of board it is single or double layer top/bottom or only side rails

I also have a pad for the feet. Everything works perfectly with the daisy chain set up. Terrible review.
