When I lived in Los Angeles in the 80s I must’ve seen Mike Miller live 20 times, maybe more. For starters, in my opinion he is literally the best rhythm guitarist, whatever that means, ever. He is both a master guitarist and musician and made his stamp on both with his original phrasing, technique and exquisite taste. What makes somebody successful or not is a mystery. He should have been one of the best known and loved guitarists around and it’s a shame that he isn’t.
mikes melody /essence is staggering haunting.beautiful.used to watch him at the hole in the wall saloon eons age in salt lake with the fowlers..changed my musical life ..thanks you is not enough.
