Man, this rocks and swings like crazy! At around 1:33 all of a sudden RF has a guitar pick, after playing with his fingers up to that point! It’s like he pulled it out of thin air!
So I'm loving the video and the performance, when I realize I'd seen the drummer before somewhere... turns out I'd seen him live with the Head Hunters at Music Inn in Lenox, Ma
HOW CAN THIS BE FROM 2014? I wish it was accurate of when it was performed , it looks like he is in his 30's, could be early 90's?(in 2014 he was 62yo) His band are so excellent here. Yes! that Bob Malach on the Sax, his grooves are so beautiful...perfect match for Robben & his friend Bob Boublitz on the Hammond B3 & Mike Clark on drums.
Of all the Blues guitar players Robben Ford is my #1. Sorry SRV, B.B., Jimi etc. Guthrie Govan says "No one else can sound like Robben Ford" - and he is right!
No one smoother
I could listen to this all night and day.
Why are sax players so thin? 🫨
Love this !
Mike Clark playing a slow shuffle for you... That's a real luxury.. (well deserved).
❤ this song & him playing it!!!
❤❤
I enjoyed that... The man is a fine musician...
Brilliant!
His sound was the best when he used the Fender guitars. It just isn't the same anymore. Just my opinion.
What I don't understand is he says he doesn't practice.
I guarantee he practiced hundreds of hours to get to this point.
@@wmdoux2108 He claims he doesn't practice, I don't believe it.

Holy Kamolie, this is soooo fantastic, great tune, great musicians!!
YeAH
From another world… wow! Love it ❤
I love robben ford i seen him live last year in a small venue it was brilliant a guitar hero of mine for sure would love to meet him one day.
I think Robben Ford and Natalie Merchant should do a mash-up...
Early '90s? He really has a sophisticated, sweet blues feel. IMO, blows B.B. King away
I didn’t know Terry Silver can scream on guitar!
Sweet
このサムネのロベン、ジャコに似てる
I hope he cut back on flossing🤣.
Pretty good vocal, too.

See kids those were the days when we kept our hair as shiny as our shoes and our pants as wide as the harmonic range of our tunes …
If only I knew half the chords he does.
what a happy man
Wow! Jazzy blues! Epic! Loved it!💪👌
that's the best kind.

Right on the money. Late 80's so he was late 30's...
Early ‘90s I would have thought, this is when Fender réal eased the signature RF Esprit guitar
Wonderful..
Robben told me he really likes Ronnie Earl. I love Ronnie Earl too.
Robben's a class act.
I REALLY wish this exact same band lineup had released an album or that there was at least more footage of them performing!
Yeah, they really sound good together-brilliant!

I agree, it’s just not about how fast one plays. Robben has the feel that no one else has.
He has tiny teeth
One of a kind. I have quite a few of his cd's, and all are fantastic.
Tasty sax solo to boot 👢!!!
Really great player, but terrible blues singer. Respect otherwise.
Robben had the best put together look. He and the band just nailed the song. Mucsicality, confidence and style, a perfect trifecta.
THAT SOLO IS INSANE DUDE SHIEETTTTTTTTTTTTT
Welcome to Jazz Club... Nice.
Geez what a player. To my ear, one of the best bluesmen ever.
JESUS.
Mutthaf*ckin... Robben. If only...
If you've seen the sheet music for this, the number of fancy chords in this arrangement is bananas. It's like 50+ or something.
Yep!!!
Best version ive seen yet! on FIRE!
My no 1 RFord song and solo
👏👏👏
Sax, organ, drums and Robben and you've got magic!! Wow!!
Perfection
