Bombay Duck is a favorite among the fish-eating communities moreover, there is a good demand for Bombay Ducks throughout the year. It is cooked & relished across coastal regions. Bombay Duck Dry Fish is savoured in a variety of delicious ways such as chutneys, bombil pickles, chilly fry, and so on. Dried Bombay Duck Fish (Sukha Bombil) recipe is generally made during the monsoon season when fresh fish is scarce.
This Dried Bombay Duck Chilli Fry is a very simple but very tasty dish. It tastes awesome with bhakri made with rice, jowar or bajra. It is simply delicious with rice and dahl on a rainy day or a winter afternoon !

Ingredients :
50 gms Dry Bombay Ducks (Sukha Bombil) - heads, fins and tail chopped off
3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 tsp (7 gms) Ginger (finely minced)
1 tbsp (18 gms) Garlic (finely minced)
3 nos. Green Chillies (diagonally sliced) - use as per your heat tolerance
3 medium size (240 gms) Onion (sliced)
2 medium size (200 gms) Red Tomatoes (chopped)
½ tsp Salt (or as per taste)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
A pinch of Sugar
½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
1 tbsp Vinegar
4 to 5 sprigs Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
Note : tsp is teaspoon
tbsp is tablespoon
use Oil as per your diet restrictions
