Hey Brother, I have a 2019 , I have Method 704's size 15, and same tires, all terrain KO2's but 235's. Definitely looks super cool and I like to think its larger girth helps when I'm off road, also the 704's have bead lock so you can lower tire pressure without worrying about it. Mine do rub, not as bad as you'd think though. Lift kits usually come with instructions on how to take care of it.
Did the 15s clear the calipers ok ? I've been told by many that the 15's wouldn't work , but I keep seeing all these Crosstreks with them on. I lifted mine (2021) with a 1.5" from Anderson Design. I love it . More clearance than my Tacoma lol
Kinda weird commenting on a clip so long ago. But the setup and car look great. Don't know if you answered this already but, what do you use as a spare? Is this ride height the same as the stock rims and tires to allow you to use the spare that came with the car. Thanks for sharing.
that is an awesome looking setup… thank you for the info! getting the same tire size on my new crosstrek… maybe even rims! Do you think it’s necessary to get the mudflaps? Keep the vehicle that much cleaner? Was thinking just 1 less thing to buy?
I removed that piece and wrapped it in black vinyl. Super easy to do and looks way better! It’s easy to remove but be careful because the clips are delicate
@@mikeodonnell5476 Thanks for replying man! I'm really digging the look on this. Still debating on them since I don't do too much off road driving but Im trying to build my 2019 crosstrek to be a tank like my blazer was haha
@@Awkwave I drive a lot of highway commuting to work etc. and they’re still great! They have some road noise but I have a muffler delete so my car is loud anyways. The ride doesn’t feel much different, and the mileage didn’t drop by much at all. The k02’s are a great compromise between street driving and off road capability.
Sasquatch Mountain Tactical nothing else to do these days with all the social distancing and what not. In the next 6 moths I want to do a 2” lift then maybe 6 moths later new tires thinking falken wild peaks.
Great video. Just confirming before I pull the trigger. This wheel and tire set up mounted directly on your stock suspension? No loft or anything? I just purchased a 2021 limited and want to do this same set up. Loooks 🔥 brother! Thanks for the advise….
Discount tire, when I went in they happened to have a set of rims they had accidentally ordered for someone else in the wrong size(for the other customer, but exactly what I was looking for) so they have me a pretty good deal for everything
What is what "tik tik tik" noise that comes from the engine? Does anyone know? I thought my car was the only one but apparently most (if not all Crosstreks make this noise.
Dude! 75% of this video was about road noise, not which all terrain tires fit a 2019 Crosstrek. You only mention your exhaust and the 215s on your car. Kind of a lot to filter through for no reward.

THANK YOU FOR THIS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ALL TERRAINS THAT WILL FIT ON MY 18 CROSSTREK UR A LEGEND
That's perfect exactly what I was thinking. I might just add half inch spacers and call it a day great video.. thank you!

They cleared just fine
@@mikeodonnell5476 Thanks Mike. I recently lifted mine 1.5 inches and had the 215 Toyos installed. Love the ride !

Looking good brother! Congrats.
Love the sound of those boxers!
2021 sport with an ironman 2inch on the way soon. I like my stock wheels and wanna go 235-65r17...not sure if i can..but gonna try
235 75 r15 on a 2 inch open country lift. No major issues
Is that the Subaru recovery part on the front with an aftermarket shackle? It looks good. I have a Crosstrek ordered in this same color.
Yes that’s exactly what it is.
Ummmm?...I think you made up my mind in changing out my exhaust
Is the tires on the stock lift
Yes factory height.
Love the look!!!! Where did you get center caps to fit? Thanks.
They’re the factory center caps and they fit great. I heard method changed their wheels a bit to make them fit
Rather have sport summer tires. Smooth ride. Low noise
I got a set of 195/80r15 for free. I'm installing them on Monday. I'll get a 2 inch lift from it haha
that is an awesome looking setup… thank you for the info!
getting the same tire size on my new crosstrek… maybe even rims! Do you think it’s necessary to get the mudflaps? Keep the vehicle that much cleaner? Was thinking just 1 less thing to buy?
Not 100% necessary but I think they help especially if you go with wheels that have more offset
I really like that front light set up. Whas is the cross bar brand? BTW the new shoes look great.
The brand is ssd performance and you can get em on Amazon
Are you method mr502s vtec spec-2? I just bought at 2019 Crosstrek.
Yes they are.
Looks awesome dude 👍
How did you paint your silver on your grill?
I removed that piece and wrapped it in black vinyl. Super easy to do and looks way better! It’s easy to remove but be careful because the clips are delicate
sick lug nuts! which one are they?
I ordered them with the wheels at discount tire
Are there any issues regarding the speedometer when you made the switch?
I haven’t seen any, I’m assuming it’s slightly off because these are overall a bit bigger but not by much
I got an Impreza same body, with 16's. What do you think can fit it? I do have a 1.3in lift about to go on, but I want to base it off stock suspension
215’s for sure, aside from that idk
Is this Grand Rapids?
Minneapolis
how was your mpg for that setup?
Averaged 30mpg, I drive mostly highway
Would you consider the Grabber A/TX-Size:225/70R15 over you current tires if so why would you choose the ko2's over them. Thanks.
I don’t know much about that tire. The size seems fine but bigger than I wanted to go. I wanted zero rubbing, and idk if you can get that from a 225
Whats the offset on your method wheels?? +30 offset?
Sick rig btw
That sounds about right, but I honestly don’t remember
Will this lower the car a bit?
Nope it actually raised it, the tire is 1” taller so 1/2” of lift
Need some help, would 225/65 R17 fit on this car not lifted either ?
Idk about that size on 17” wheels but 225’s on 15’s fit.
Does that fit with the stock calipers and rotors though?
Yes it definitely does
Looks good. Putting the same setup on a 2021 with a 1.5" lift. Where did you get the center caps and did they install as is?
Center caps are factory ones, and they put them on for me.
How’s the fuel efficiency?
I saw a decrease of 1-2mph in general
Nice rig, What size lug nuts did you end up getting on those methods wheels btw
Not sure, I just bought it all through discount tire and they just gave me what I needed
Sasquatch Mountain Tactical ok
Is that Tow Hook just a stock hook with a Shackle attached?
Yes it is
Hey i have a few questions since i got mine awhile ago and i want to know what modifications can void my warranty and which ones won't
Wheels/tires shouldn’t void the warranty, as for other mods I’m not entirely sure. But I haven’t done anything that isn’t reversible.
Why would you get a muffler delete?
Because I like the way it sounds.
Hey sir will this wheel and tire set up fits on my 2019 forester?
That I’m not sure, size wise I think they should, if they’ll clear the rotors
What lug nuts did you use on the method 502s?
I honestly don’t know, I got everything at discount tire and they just said “these are the lugs you need”
I’m thinking to replace also my tire on my crosstreck 2013 is do you think will be alright ? Thks look great
They should fit fine, I wouldn’t go bigger.
How’s the break calipers with 15inch tires and wheels?
No issues at all, they clear just fine.

I’m hoping to get some off-road video soon.

What is the offset for the rim?
I don’t remember but these all come with the same offset.
Not sure if someone already asked this but what offset are the rims?
I don’t remember off the top of my head, and I no longer have the car or wheels.
@@mikeodonnell5476 Hi. What happened to your rad ride? Something went wrong with the Crosstrek or something?
@@kylefirmanek7658 I traded it on a Tacoma trd off road. I needed something bigger with more off road capabilities.
