Did the 15s clear the calipers ok ? I've been told by many that the 15's wouldn't work , but I keep seeing all these Crosstreks with them on. I lifted mine (2021) with a 1.5" from Anderson Design. I love it . More clearance than my Tacoma lol

funny the original gerber MK-1' combat knife was the non serrated version of the MK-2' and the MK-2' gerber was the serrated version , and the gerber boot knife was just that a boot knife its like no one has a non serrated MK-1' most pre 80's gerbers were 406' steel and the 1980's gerbers were 440' steel

Gerber Mark 1 looked like your two without the serrations on the blade, earliest version had a 4 degree offset blade.

I just bought a 3+ but these videos of older models give great perspective of different setups.

How did you figure out the new wiring for the button? Any “color matching” tips? New to this wiring-lol

This procedure also worked for me as I have the traction control switch to the left of the automatic engine shut-off switch (car turns off at light). I always turn the auto-stop switch off so the car doesn't turn off at the light. BUT I hated that the switch was in the 2nd position - I wanted it on the end left. This procedure worked perfectly to get to the switches and move then. I did use a very little oil on the side of the switch housing to get the switches to lock in. Done = 10 minutes.

Not supposed to even have the toe pin in while driving. Defeats safety features and modifies the crumple zone.

Mike, after watching your video I installed the same switch you used on my Subaru to light up a light-bar. What is puzzling me is that I can turn on or off the light bar with the switch, but the switch itself always remains lit. This does not sound right to me as it can drain the battery. When you installed the switch did the LED light on the switch remained on? Thanks.

I managed to install 2 hella horns on my 2020 Crosstrek without removing the bumper or even the grill. The only thing I had to remove was the front plastic cover on top, lift off the airfilter attachment next and also remove the airfilter housing with that big white plastic 'bottle' below, held in place with 2 10 mm bolts outside and one inside. With a mirror and a flashlight the 'hidden' 2nd' horn is then visible, and easy to pull off the cable from the single connector on it, leaving the horn installed but disconnected. A new cable with a male connector will fit into the female connector removed from that horn, and fed all the way to the relay. The one 'easy to reach' horn in front of the radiator I left connected as it completes the circuit when pushing the horn button. It will still 'beep' together with the 2 Hella's, but drowned out by the Hella's. One Hella I mounted on the same bracket of the still functioning original horn, which I had removed and tyed up with a tiedown out of the way. The other Hella I mounted with a little spacer on one of the available holes on the drivers side. No special wiring packages or wobbly external brackets needed, and the whole thing works perfectly. 🙂
