I’m so happy to be sharing this Louis Vuitton unboxing with you! As mentioned, I’ve been after a Louis Vuitton cabas mezzo for quite some time now, and I am quite pleased to have this one now 😊 Buying pre-loved luxury can be hit and miss, more so with vintage luxury pieces, and while I was expecting wear, I’m certainly not fussed that there’s less than expected. Still, I’m excited to start on my new rehab project! What do you think of the cabas line? Have you heard of it before? Do you have one? I’d love to know!

I also wanted to say a quick note in regards to my recent video on “purse peace” (and if it’s possible). Yes, I did add another bag to my collection! But again, in adding that bag, I feel pretty content and happy with what I have. I’m really looking forward to rehabbing this bag and using it, and while there are still other things I have my eye on, I adore my collection as it is as well, and that’s what I believe purse peace truly is. That's a great bag! It's completely bizarre to me that LV decided to discontinue these and instead push open top totes. Too many people are scared of vachetta, it's one of the most hard-wearing leathers. It's meant to be used.
Exactly. I understand disappointment if there is severe water damage or something, but these bags are for using!

Love these vintage bags. I have a 2003 Cabas Piano, they are great bags & certainly don’t make them like they used to. Was looking at the new pieces at a local department store (Dillards) that carries LV, the canvas just isn’t the same quality as the vintage pieces. Thanks for sharing!

I love the Cabas line as well! I owned a few Pianos in the early 2000s. It was one of my first LV bags ever, my go to bag! I owned a mezzo at one point too. Just recently bought a vintage Piano from Brand_Jfa and am so happy to own it again. Looking for a mezzo next. Do you have a video featuring your Piano? Thanks for the great videos!

So excited to see your Mezzo , I purchased one a few months ago and I absolutely love it. I was lucky to get it with a beautiful even patina with no water marks and at a great price.
I have decided that when the vachetta gets too dark for my liking , that It will be replaced with black leather. I've called the project a Franken-Louis.
