I have “real” bags and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the *preluxs* we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Chanel boutique with her and no one can tell she has a fake.

I know you know this, and I'm glad that you're confident enough to deal with the negative comments, but your reaction was absolutely justified. These scams are disgusting. Anyone trying to take advantage and lie is disgusting. Some people may say 'oh it's just a bag' or 'there are bigger problems' but they are completely missing the point. Respect and decency aren't just reserved for "important" issues (and I agree with you on the legitimate issues surrounding fakes). We shouldn't have to work so hard to protect ourselves. I'm glad that you're getting the word out there so other people can benefit from your experience.
Absolutely, it’s the scams that are disgusting and have to stop, and it’s a lot of money for someone to lose. There is no excuse for selling counterfeits as if they are original and defrauding those monies 💕

I got scammed on eBay probably around 2003, I bought a fake Coach bag that they tried to pass as real. I was able to return it to the seller, but would never again buy bags through eBay! Don’t feel bad hunny, the universe always fixes the wrongs. Don’t mind the haters either! Love your channel 💕

I was scammed on ebay as well i put no returns but the girl bought, used, stained and then sent my bag back after a week and ebay made me refund all of her money it cost me 300$ all together for her to carry my bag for a week! It cost so much because the girl who ordered it lived in africa and i had to pay shipping both ways i had to pay a monthly fee to ebay and a fee to paypal D: never selling on ebay again!!
@@CassandraReneeXOXO she told ebay the item was not as described but i took pictures in sunlight over a mirror so every stain was photographed and on display and it was in great condition because i never let rain touch that bag and she sent it back to me with water stains all around stitching! she didn't have to pay a dime and it cost me 300$
I think you reacted as all of us would - no judgement here. None of us want to lose our hard earned money and end up with a fake item which is being advertised as authentic. It is unfortunate we live in a time where some feel it is perfectly ok to take advantage of others.

I never buy from ebay, too much scamming. If buying pre-loved I used companies that guarantee authenticity. I purchased an Givenchy Antigona bag from Vestiaire Collective (didn’t authenticated on my own when I received it, it was my first preloved purchase). Over a year later I tried to sell it to one well known preloved retailer and was sent back to me. I approached Vestiaire with my case and sent them back the bag and they gave me a full refund. Its an awful situation though, that feeling that you get when you are told that what you bought it’s not authentic. Want to hear a crazy story? A few years ago, I purchased a Gucci Soho Disco bag from the actual Gucci boutique in a high end mall. Recently, I decided to sell that bag to a well known consignment company who declared it was not authentic. I was insulted and mortified so I immediately went to find the receipt (I keep them all in a safe place) and the receipt looked funny--blurry and light grey as if the ink had run out of the register when printing. Then I remembered when I purchased the bag that the sales clerk told me she needed to grab the bag from their "storage area" in another area of the mall and she left the store and returned about ten minutes later with the bag she then sold to me. I have NO proof that this happened and my receipt is useless. Did that sales clerk sell me a fake? What would be the purpose of this?? I can't even come up with a motive since my mind doesn't even comprehend these things! Unfortunately, I am out of luck with a bag that I now know is fake but for which I paid FULL PRICE. It's upsetting and I can completely understand your reaction.

Gucci keeps a record on the computer of your purchase. Can you go into the store and have them pull the receipt? Did you go back to the store to let them know this happened to you?
I just found out from LV repair that my wallet bought from energy-Japan and it’s fake. Had hand surgery so waited to send for rip to be mended. Today LV said it’s fake….

He will be sending a label for return and then refund. Always have bought from Japanese sellers; first fake item.
In the US, selling counterfeits is illegal. Don't know what the statue of limitations is, but I imagine if you complained to your credit card and/or filed a police report in the US (realize overseas laws are different) you might be able to strong arm ebay into getting your money back.
Had the same experienced. I bought a celine nano gave me an authentication card. Sold it on eBay last Monday because I haven’t been wearing it. The buyer wants a refund because she said my bag is in authentic. I was gutted. Not sure if the buyer is scamming me or the seller I bought the bag sold me fake bag.

I just found out today that the dolce and Gabbana bag I bought from eBay 3 months ago is fake… even after I had asked eBay if I could trust this seller, ect. And they said yes. Spend almost $1,000 dollars on it, under the pretenses that is was 100% authentic too. Am a college student and it was my first bag, had spend so many months saving up for it … so being also too late to get my money back from eBay and in tears , this video is making me Feel so much better , thank you.
I don't get why other had mistaken why you can't get up-set about it. If i were you, i can't sleep for days. No one likes to be scammed. I feel your pain. I have been scammed on ebay in the past. And, I thought I knew how to avoid it. Never again! Louis Vuitton will no longer be putting date codes in their bags, they are now going to be chipped. This is what I was told just the other day by their SA. LV has had enough of the counterfeiting and the time and money they spend chasing down a website, suing them, closing them down, only to see them up and running again in a few days. It was an exhausting process. I am thinking maybe other high end luxury handbag makers will all be following suit by incorporating chip technology as well. I purchased a LV item and it was fake but the seller honestly didn’t know because she purchased it on Tradesy and showed me the proof...and I didn’t find out until 6 mons after I purchased it and PayPal refunded my money! But I get everything authenticated immediately now and honestly you should’ve gotten it authenticated before you purchased it. And honestly you don’t know if that person knew it was counterfeit...they could’ve purchased it from someone else who told them the same thing. So yes if they knew it was fake then that’s disgusting and horrible and I’d be pissed too!

This story will curl your hair... I bought Alexander McQ sneakers last year. I bought them from Mercari who uses Real Authentication. They never fit me right so I decided to try and resell them. Fine. I listed them with Mercari (I had the authenticity certificate) and a lady wanted to buy them but wanted me to authenticate them again. I did it and now Real Authentication now says they are fake. You also can’t rely on this company as this is the 4th time they’ve said this when I know an item is authentic. So it goes both ways. I can resubmit the same bag or sneakers and it can go authentic or fake, you just never know. 😍

Selling counterfeits is illegal in some places (no matter what the seller has claimed), especially when the logo is not altered and looks very similar to the original one
Than you for this video, I have purchased several luxury bags online that unfortunately turned out to be counterfeit, after going back and forth with eBay / PayPal, Mercari, Poshmark out of 39 online purchases 4 weren’t authentic and only 2 I found out in time so I received my money back the other 2 so happy to have the bag wearing the bag then noticed defective parts I was stuck with them but I explained all of that to say I’d never apologize for what I say in a video if they don’t like your content keep scrolling, I can’t with TROLLs everyone’s so sensitive

Did you get the Gucci Marmont authenticated by anyone else than Real Authentication? I just watched another youtubers video and authentication got it wrong. The items were real.

Cause there are a ton of people who focus on selling dup/fakes bags and the price should have reflected that. I sell pre-loved bags only from an authenticator! I was scammed on ebay as well i put no returns but the girl bought, used, stained and then sent my bag back after a week and ebay made me refund all of her money it cost me 300$ all together for her to carry my bag for a week! It cost so much because the girl who ordered it lived in africa and i had to pay shipping both ways i had to pay a monthly fee to ebay and a fee to paypal D: never selling on ebay again!!

I never buy from ebay, too much scamming. If buying pre-loved I used companies that guarantee authenticity. I purchased an Givenchy Antigona bag from Vestiaire Collective (didn’t authenticated on my own when I received it, it was my first preloved purchase). Over a year later I tried to sell it to one well known preloved retailer and was sent back to me. I approached Vestiaire with my case and sent them back the bag and they gave me a full refund. Its an awful situation though, that feeling that you get when you are told that what you bought it’s not authentic. Anyhow, good to see that you have closed that chapter and are ready to move on on this subject. Have a great weekend Amelia!

Want to hear a crazy story? A few years ago, I purchased a Gucci Soho Disco bag from the actual Gucci boutique in a high end mall. Recently, I decided to sell that bag to a well known consignment company who declared it was not authentic. I was insulted and mortified so I immediately went to find the receipt (I keep them all in a safe place) and the receipt looked funny--blurry and light grey as if the ink had run out of the register when printing. Then I remembered when I purchased the bag that the sales clerk told me she needed to grab the bag from their "storage area" in another area of the mall and she left the store and returned about ten minutes later with the bag she then sold to me. I have NO proof that this happened and my receipt is useless. Did that sales clerk sell me a fake? What would be the purpose of this?? I can't even come up with a motive since my mind doesn't even comprehend these things! Unfortunately, I am out of luck with a bag that I now know is fake but for which I paid FULL PRICE. It's upsetting and I can completely understand your reaction.

He will be sending a label for return and then refund. Always have bought from Japanese sellers; first fake item.

In the US, selling counterfeits is illegal. Don't know what the statue of limitations is, but I imagine if you complained to your credit card and/or filed a police report in the US (realize overseas laws are different) you might be able to strong arm ebay into getting your money back.
Had the same experienced. I bought a celine nano gave me an authentication card. Sold it on eBay last Monday because I haven’t been wearing it. The buyer wants a refund because she said my bag is in authentic. I was gutted. Not sure if the buyer is scamming me or the seller I bought the bag sold me fake bag.

I just found out today that the dolce and Gabbana bag I bought from eBay 3 months ago is fake… even after I had asked eBay if I could trust this seller, ect. And they said yes. Spend almost $1,000 dollars on it, under the pretenses that is was 100% authentic too. Louis Vuitton will no longer be putting date codes in their bags, they are now going to be chipped. This is what I
was told just the other day by their SA. LV has had enough of the counterfeiting and the time and money they
spend chasing down a website, suing them, closing them down, only to see them up and running again in a few days.
It was an exhausting process. I am thinking maybe other high end luxury handbag makers will all be following suit by
incorporating chip technology as well.

I purchased a LV item and it was fake but the seller honestly didn’t know because she purchased it on Tradesy and showed me the proof...and I didn’t find out until 6 mons after I purchased it and PayPal refunded my money! But I get everything authenticated immediately now and honestly you should’ve gotten it authenticated before you purchased it. And honestly you don’t know if that person knew it was counterfeit...they could’ve purchased it from someone else who told them the same thing. So yes if they knew it was fake then that’s disgusting and horrible and I’d be pissed too!

This story will curl your hair... I bought Alexander McQ sneakers last year. I bought them from Mercari who uses Real Authentication. They never fit me right so I decided to try and resell them. Fine. I listed them with Mercari (I had the authenticity certificate) and a lady wanted to buy them but wanted me to authenticate them again. I did it and now Real Authentication now says they are fake. You also can’t rely on this company as this is the 4th time they’ve said this when I know an item is authentic. So it goes both ways. I can resubmit the same bag or sneakers and it can go authentic or fake, you just never know. 😍

You have the right to feel upset that someone lied to you and stole your money. Ya you're lucky to have the money to buy real luxury but you totally have the right to feel the way you feel. Your reaction wasn't a spoiled brat reaction it was a totally normal human reaction to being lied to and finding out your hard-earned money was stolen. if someone broke into your house and stole something from you there would be no difference, even if you were raised as a rich person you'd still have the right to be upset.
