Usually I wouldn't be watching these videos since I understand in class, but online classes are burning me out, which made me go here. My previous year's math teacher attaches your videos for us to learn our lessons in advanced. This year, my current teacher only just does lectures and sends us PowerPoint copies of the lectures (not saying that it's wrong, because that's my current teacher's teaching style). Like I said earlier, I usually understand the lessons once discussed, but online class burn out didn't make me listen to class at all, or motivated or keep me focused. And that burn out brought me back here. I would like to sat the videos may be simple, but I find it entertaining with how simple it is. Nice video. One thing... at 5:17, the inverse function needs a restriction on the range since the original function had a restriction on the domain. That would lose points on a test and it’s important to make note of.

After the military I decided I wanted to go to college. I'm in my late 20s in remedial math. I thought I was going to major in CS. Although I have an A in my last remedial class, I think I'm too dumb to continue in CS. I'll be switching my major to something in the humanities. Sometimes my math homework makes me want to cry. I'm done trying to force something that I'm just not very good at. I'm always the top student in my liberal arts classes. I guess I'll stick to what I'm just naturally good at.

AniJam you reverse the numerator and the denominator and if there is like subtraction or addition you just do the opposite of what it is. So if it was like y= 3/5x + 7 it would be y= 5/3x - 7

TLDR: just swap the x and y. Y = 3x + 4 becomes x = 3y + 4 just get the single Y by itself and you are done.
