We can still make Airwolf today though. I mean we need to make it even more powerful. The original Airwolf is a 80s helicopter that is already of 21st century standard. If we are going to make a new Airwolf, this helicopter must be at least 22nd century technology standard. But, it will be good :)

Yeah I honestly don't understand the term "cover". I mean when the Boston Symphony plays Beethoven's Seventh Symphony--that's what they do, no one says "oooh great cover of beethoven", they just play the song, period.

So glad I lived through this era....the happiest most fun era of all time...lots of upbeat real genuine people and good positive energy...this younger generation has no idea what it missed out on and will never have...
Absolutely agree with everything!!! I was born in the mid-80s and I also remember the great "warm" that the 90s released. Times where everything had the right value and where you really had to have a special talent to attract the public (Michael Jackson is a perfect example). The sad thing is that even the majority of people of past generations have embraced the "cold" way of modern living and the garbage that is produced today, not only in the field of music... movies, TV series, commercials, cartoons, video games, toys, cars, etc. completely forgetting the beautiful things they grew up with. Luckily there are some people like you who are proud of what they experienced, watched and listened to... only those who were there in those years can understand what it all means. Thanks again for writing to me :) :) :)
It’s one thing to listen to a soundtrack on TH-cam, but when you can see how it’s played sort of like a live performance, you enjoy the music a lot more. I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to the air wolf and knight rider soundtracks, but the experience kicks it up to the next level when you watch this guy play it. You get fully absorbed and immersed into the soundtrack, all while imagining the dramatic action sequences that goes with the piece.
This is truly one of the most SPECIAL and INCREDIBLE comments I have ever received!!! I am truly honored to convey all these sensations with my passion for music... it is truly an indescribable feeling!! Words are not enough to thank you for this, my dear friend!!! THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH, TOM :) :) :)
@@KOSmusicovers As someone who watched and loved every episode of the show when it first aired, I echo Tom's thoughts. I KNOW the theme already. I can hear the whole thing in my head when I want to or play a recording of it from TH-cam. But watching those keys get played makes it all the more visceral -- especially the final rising section. AND it's reminiscent of the show itself because they had those standard closeups of buttons, switches, and triggers common to the military fiction genre. There's something very fitting in that parallel. So, thanks for this!
@@KOSmusicovers I agree completely and wish to add something. I think after watching probably hundreds of covers of the theme that this is the cleanest and most accurate version. Thank you.
Really hits you how much it SCREAMS 80's, the synth sound, the beat, even the cyan grid and logo. The vibe of the decade could be summarized in this one video. ❤
WOOWWW...THANK YOU VERY MUCH, ROBIN!!!!!! I'm so happy you enjoyed all my work on this tribute!! Yeah, the 80s were absolutely among the most creative and expressive ever and not just for music... unforgettable era!!! Thanks again for your AWESOME comment :) :) :)

I just watched this video for like the 20th time and just noticed the Airwolf graphic isn't greenscreen because I can see it reflected on the keys in some shots. My level of impressed increased by 73%
MEGA WOOOWWW, MAN!!!!! It is really a great joy to know that you have noticed this particular... many people think that the backgrounds of my videos are made with the greenscreen, but in reality I prefer to create them by hand. I am a musician who, back in the late 80's/early 90's, worked as a studio musician. While I did spend a lot of that part of my career as a backing musician for various solo artists, I also recorded music tracks for some TV commercials and even twice had the privilege of recording music for a TV show's soundtrack. So, trust me when I say that you have done something very special here! You have brought back extremely fond memories of one of my favorite shows of the 80's and its equally awesome theme music. Your version here, if I may say so, is even better than the original, and I REVERED that theme! Speaking of TV themes, I was in a band back in about '92 which I was the keyboardist for, and we opened our shows with our version of the Battlestar Galactica theme. The 1978 Galactica, not the '04 remake. I liked the remake much much more, but the *_theme_* of the '78 series was FAR better. I played the main melody of the theme on my beloved Oberheim OB-x and the backing chords and other sounds on a PPG Wave 2.3. I bring this up because I feel that you could easily do that theme justice and would love to hear your musical interpretation of BSG '78! Keep up the utterly *_amazing_* work and soulful passion!

I love everything from the past and these tracks are truly something unforgettable! How many beautiful experiences you have had!! YEAH!!!! Battlestar Galactica has a wonderful musical theme and the one from 1978 is the best! I thought I would try to recreate it 1:1 (orchestral version) but with your comment, you made me want to try also to create a synthesized version of this classic (in Jean-Michel Jarre style) and I think it would be very fun and interesting do some experiments. Thank you for your trust and for this idea... if I will be able to create it in the future, it will be dedicated to you, my friend :) THANK YOU OF HEART DAVE, FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND FOR YOUR AWESOME SUPPORT!!! Just looked it up: Stu Phillips), but I'm gonna have to strongly disagree on which was better, 1978 or 1980 BG. To me the only episode I liked in the 1980 version was "The Return of Starbuck" which ironically was possibly the best episode of the entire franchise prior to the reboot, IMO. Anyway, for anyone who wants to hear the original theme, here it is: th-cam.com/video/vzyHxYxc-Mo/w-d-xo.html

You absolutely nail these themes. As a child of the 80s, I watched all these shows way too often. Listening to these themes, I can practically feel the anticipation of my inner 8 year old waiting for this week’s episode. @Joe Kinchicken This is not a challenge with who grew up before or after the 80s. Jealous? If anything, I admire who managed to live the best years of the past to the full! I have seen and listened to these classics since I was 3 (thanks to my parents) and I also remember Hulk, The Addams Family, Wonder Woman and Dallas very well. So in your opinion, should I pretend not to remember the emotions I felt when I was a child looking at these masterpieces and not to recreate these songs because "YOU" think that I am not worthy because too young at the time? I only tell you this: I will continue to express my memories with my covers (making people remember the good memories). Your comment is very immature and I think that even if you are older than me, from how you wrote you look like a child of 10 year old, full of hatred towards other generations who will undoubtedly give more emotions with their passion for music unlike you, who will you continue to write useless comments for always.

GAWD I miss the 80s. Every time I hear music like this I get all nostalgic and wish I could be a kid growing up in that era again. I say constantly that the 80s was the pinnacle of American pop culture. Sure there's been some great things since, but nothing can ever top that entire decade.
Totally agree with you, Dan!!! These were eras in which, thanks to true passion, pioneering ingenuity and the desire to create spectacular things, they managed to make masterpieces like this but also movies, cars & motorbikes, toys and many other things timeless. Even advertising back then was a work of art (today it's just to sell like everything else unfortunately). The thing that saddens me most is that the majority of people today are satisfied with very little :/ before you had to be as special as Michael Jackson to be able to sell records and attract the public. Now with two meaningless synth sounds, an autotune voice and a video that anyone could make at home alone, they manage to sell millions of this "pseudo music" and believe themselves to be talented "artists". Dire Straits, Tina Turner, Scorpions, Giorgio Moroder, Jan Hammer, Bee Gees and many others... these are true artists who have made the history of music :)
A lot of the 80s TV shows had great themes and just hearing a second of it you know the show and brings back memories of it like a flashback, From Miami Vice to MASH each has its own style but memorable.
PERFECT COMMENT, MATE!!!!!! In past years things were exactly like that, unique and immediately recognizable!!! Even today, these things manage to convey the same emotions as always!!!!! If I had a time machine (maybe a DeLorean), I would go back instantly :) :) :)

Beautiful. I love this theme song. I "hear" it in my mind. I would always be so happy for each new episode every week. How I wish I could see Airwolf herself and touch her nose. It was a dream of mine to get a ride with her. I know the original copter is gone. Now I have a new dream to find a Bell 222 and rebuild Airwolf to series specs. And have everything working. It's a huge project, the only thing that will be difficult is the armor. And the turbos. But it would be so fun. Also have to figure a way to give her her voice. The scream. Perhaps someday.

AWESOME TUNE! the 80's had some great shows with great theme music!
haha oh the 80s, back when we had no idea how much havoc we were wreaking on the rest of the world and the plant

Thank you.

Oh baby this and Streethawk made me run through the house and jump on the couch as a kid! Miss those good old 1980’s days

@@KOSmusicovers I look forward to that!!!
The Lady. Miss that show.
Exactly!
@@KOSmusicovers taps finger. Waiting lol
日本でも何度もこの曲はリフレインされますね 聞いてみると確かに聞いたことのあるサウンドでシンプルながらにワクワクさせられる曲調ですごいです
Without a doubt one of the coolest if not the coolest TV theme tune of all time.
Absolutely yes, along with Knight Rider and Street Hawk are my favorite TV themes (synth based)!!!! :) :) :)
Knight Rider is about tied with Airwolf in this regard.
Music still gives me the chills. You always knew that when the music started and visor dropped, shit was going down!
I loved this show and this is one of my top-favorite theme songs. - I'd love to see you do the one for Stingray :)
Incredible. I love it.
I haven't heard this theme in more than 20 years, and your version sounds amazing. Really brings me back.
Oh man... these are the comments that fill my heart with joy!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, MY FRIEND!!!! :) :) :)

Do cover of movie FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR
Indeed. It feels like an opening scene of the series.
Airwolf became one of the most popular, if not the most popular Aircraft, vehicle to come out of Hollywood. It has become a must have for many RC hobbyist around the world, in all scale sizes, Airwolf ( The second seasons Helicopter ) has even become the yard decoration of a Millionaire in Malibu Ca. Airwolf has also made a comeback too. Monster Aviation Inc Trustee out of Wilmington , DE. has built a replica that is in service to this day. Just a little FYI for the day. : ) ~

Flying Knight Rider! That 80s "it's a dude with a high tech vehicle" genre was amazing.
Yeah, in those years they had a lot of brilliant ideas and the composers completed the work with their unforgettable musical masterpieces!!!
Dont ever remove this video please. You are an artist!!

Eat your heart out Dominic Santini, cause Stringfellow Hawke is back in the pilot seat!
Awesome job indeed......as always!
YEAH!!!!!! It makes me really glad that you liked this version!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, MY FRIEND FOR THIS FABULOUS COMMENT!!!! :) :) :)
