This game was wild. The biggest factors IMHO was Sitting Bull having EXTREMELY high quality land early. That land was so high quality that even Sitting Bull couldn't screw it up. Also, Shaka not having early metals meant no usual eary Zulu wars.
Spoilers Sitting Bull becomes Sprinting Bull. Honestly I think Sitting Bull is underrated in the sense that because he usually has lots of units while still managing to have at least a decent economy, he can win one on ones and sometimes even two on ones. So if he is declared on and not dogpiled, he can easily win the war through being protective + unit spam, and then become monstrous. Also, poor Hannibal. Season 6 he had the jungle mess and Season 8 he’s beyond squeezed on territory.

I recently ran AI games for the hell of it and I’ve seen Sitting Bull be fairly strong in multiple games because he wasn’t dogpiled and won a one on one. His peaceweight and passiveness make him a bad leader because he will 90% of the time either A) be dogpiled or B) do nothing but in the off chance he ends up in a one on one, odds are he comes out on top and becomes a strong AI in that game
I swear Hannibal has to be the most screwed over leader in AI Survivor history when it comes to starting territory. Season 6 he has a jungle mess, Season 7 iirc he was squeezed on land but escaped via the unlikely conquest of Lincoln, and Season 8 he’s also squeezed on land. I’d like to see him perform with Sitting Bull’s starting location
I think Sitting Bull and Freddy may still be decently strong in the alternate histories due to their sheer quantity and quality of land. Huayna and Hannibal both have weak starting positions and I don't expect Willem to accomplish too much success because he's Willem
@@TampaBayGator20 I actually put Willem first to die, betting that it will be 2v1 with Shaka and HC attacking him. I didn't count SB to expand right in HC direction and then attacking him that fast. I thought that #1 first war would be later and #2 it would be Shaka and HC against Willem and Hannibal against SB. My experience with SB is that he just sits there building army but not attacking anyone. This was serious surprise to me.
What are the odds. Against some of the strongest leaders in the game the 2 weak guys come in 1 and 2. Insane. At this point I feel like I should let RNG make my picks and I would have a better chance at points.
If you had this turnout in your prediction you should go buy a lottery ticket immediately. wow. crazy game. at least i had culture and turn 320 i think.
Hannibal could have easily won this game if he wasn't given the worst land in the game, the second that sitting bulls second city went down the game would have been over for most human players even, kind of dumb how the land isn't even somewhat fair for some of the leaders. I don't mind the better or worse starts but theres gotta be a point where its too rigged for and/or against.

He has a decent economy early but tends to fall behind later.
