Hi Tim just seen this video, interesting valid comments, just intrigued to know what is your care and maintenance after use of your trimmer blade's usually here end up in the bottom of the animal care bucket and onto the next job and when you pick them up next they're dirty and rusty and harder to use.
Maybe something said in the instruction manual collecting dust in the bin, just for a laugh.
    Great video again

Clearly an impressive piece of kit, but at a breath under $1700 my forearms and wrists will have to do the job for now.

I like the simplicity of those Mr. Thompson. Looks pretty easy to change blades. It also seems the more you use them the quicker it goes. Like you, I think I would have some caution when first using them since they are sharp and powerful. I could see that on the goats. They seem like one of those tools that after using them you would wonder how you got along without them. Thanks for the great Vid... as usual!

I'd say three things about this video: 1) Very good kit, and something which can do two jobs well is always welcome, but... 2) Tim! Start culling on foot quality now; 3) Give them zinc-rich licks (can you get Rockies in Oz?)

Turn over crate gas transformed foot trimming here, one of those would further ease the job im sure. Great vid 👍

Could you use the Mobishears on Alpaca feet?

    • @FarmLearningTim

I’ve Only used on sheep and goats. I suggest that if you use normal footrot shears then you can use Mobishear.
