Schumacher, I absolutely love the story that goes with the home. This is why I love your channel. Heidi, your style is so beautiful, so curated and you can just feel the love and happiness in your home. Thank you for sharing.
Oh my gosh! A house featured here in Tacoma! I live in the Hilltop neighborhood, which also has historic homes, but I'm familiar with the north end historic home neighborhoods as well and the University of Puget Sound. I'm sure that's the college Heidi was referring to when speaking of the former owner being a professor "at the college down the street" . What a treat to see a home in the city where I live and referring to Seattle where I grew up! My favorite thing in Heidi's home were the vintage plates hanging on the wall in the dining room. Thank you, Heidi and Schumacher 1889!
Oh my, what a lovely, lovely home. 'Charming' is so over-used these days, but I can't think of a better word that truly conveys the fullness of feeling and emotion that is evoked on this home tour.
I loved this home and the designer…more of this type of home and interview…authentic, liveable and at the same time interesting and beautiful beautiful post! Thank you!
Hello, I love, love that this designer is not afraid of having pictures in practically every area of her home. I would have like to see her kitchen because even though the video rolled fast, it deep blue paint appears glamorous and the drapes and wall papers were of good quality. Thanks for sharing!
Ah!!!! I am always looking so forward to a new home tour. I’ve just recently become a fan of Heidi and I was so excited you guys were doing her home tour. So beautiful as expected! Her bedroom is definitely my favourite. Wow!
Wow! The interior of the home is magnificent. I love the choices of wallpaper, which are soothing yet colorful. Your display of majolica on the wallpaper is the best I've seen. My only niggle is the exterior of the house. I would have honored the neighborhood architecture and more traditional Tudor elements. That exterior and interior cohesion would create harmony.
Born, raised, worked, loved in Seattle area (66 years). Moved to Austin TX in 2011 to be closer to my daughter and granddaughter. Culture shock in some regards; beautiful oak trees have replaced the tall evergreens. I do miss my flowers. Watching you arranging dahlias and peonies, alas, I'm learning to love succulents. Also love seeing the sun and blue skies most days. I'm intrigued with the wall paper in your bedroom. I'm keeping this video to share with my designer. In some of the film it takes on different hues. I'd love to have the name of the print. Obviously it's made by Schumacher. I found your business link and Instagram. I'll reach out from there too. My aunt, uncle, cousins, back in the 50s, 60s, 70s, lived in north Tacoma. Over the years they lived in two huge corner lot homes, replete with tons of oak, winding staircases, French doors, dumbwaiters, mother-in-law wings, and secret staircases. One of the homes had a massive Monkey tree in the front yard. I've always loved Tacoma.Thank you for sharing your home. It's beyond lovely and welcoming.
Blown away by Heidi and her sense of home. Her presentation of her work enhances the entire effect.
So So HAPPY someone finally interviewed the lovely misses Heidi! Her work needs to be showcased more ❤

Thank you for the nice note!
I definitely see the British aesthetic - very layered and with personality (not HGTV everything-new-&-perfect). Love it!!!
I truly love how well interior designers pull art together.
The interiors just feel like a warm gentle hug. The ease of everything, just wonderful!

A very English / Scandinavian feeling to the home. My favourite look!
Lovely!!!

So agree about leaving the need to have everything perfect behind. Loved this house, especially the artwork.

I could do live in this house comfortably and I’m a modernist xxx
Heidi is my hero 🫶🏼
Gotta hand it to you, Schumacher 1889, your home tours showcase designers with soul, not just taste.
Lovely.
Please where did you buy the pink wallpaper in your room? Extremely beautiful to me . PLease share with me ?
Beautiful home and just my style. Any leads on that bedroom wallpaper???
Me ha gustado mucho el vídeo, pero como soy española no entiendo el inglés. Por favor podría activar los subtítulos?. Gracias!
Love your style. Sophisticated but w that bit of eclectic english coziness.
Great instincts
I like a good tudor.
🤍
I don't love her livingroom.. nothing eclectic, very bland. The part I do like is the wallpaper in dining area with the decorative plates on the wall.
Perfectly decorated, except it is just too dark inside the home.
