I've just recently found your channel - thank you for putting yourself out there and giving your experiences. Incredibly useful for us 'newbies'. I'm a year out from having my stroke and whilst I'm now walking (almost) unaided, my knee won't bend. It's been frustrating seeing other stroke survivors regain that normal knee-bending walk. I'm told it's that my hamstrings are too weak but I'm not convinced. My big worry is falling and getting up. We have done a couple of trials with a physio and another helper. It's awkward and doable but I doubt I'd be able to do it myself, especially that my arm / shoulder is still spastic and unable to move. I know things will improve with time but I'm happy to see you being to live a full life. It gives me hope.
Great video as always! The shoes i wear influence a lot how i walk. There are many shoes and trainers that i don't use because of that! I use my kind of trainers for many years that help me a lot! Please do more videos!
That video was good Chiara. You explained that quite nicely.

Great video- I have the same thing and my knee rarely bends. It seems that part is still paralyzed - never developed a new pathway.
Hey...just checking in to see how you're doing. Missing your videos.
I’m good thank you i’m working on some videos. more will be coming soon. 😊
My knee doesn't bbend when I walk either. I have left side hemiplegia due to stroke
I'm almost 3 years into this hemiplegia and I'm still new at this . Do you ever suffer from pain from your hemiplegia,?
