Always a fan of cheap cases, they show you dont have to spend a fortune on one. It certainly looks the part, nice MSI badge on the front and some RGB (for those who like that kind of thing). Got some nice features here but when you look at what its up against at this price point I feel that it needed to do a bit better to be competative. If you're a MSI fanboy then fair enough.

Very true! the attention to detail and layout is not brilliant but useful, the gamemax stealth blows this out of the water in terms of functionality but this has an MSI badge so that adds to the fanboi points

This case is decent I took out the foam filter and replaced the little rubber washers for the glass with ones that don't come off. The main thing I like is that I can connect argb fans to the case since my motherboard doesn't have a header.
i think that is the best thing to do the foam really isn't necessary
@@mikesunboxing yea also the dust builds up on it and it's noticable also blocks some airflow. Edit I rather just clean the case later than to see the dust on the foam built up
Reasonable looking case but by the time you add the necessary fans surely it would be same cost to buy more expensive case which includes the fans, hubs you need for the build? Thanks for sharing Mike and Kath👍
yes to some extent that is true, i have a few spare fans so for me it isn't too much of a problem, the real selling point here is the distinct look and the branding for the money

Case looks pretty nice. Thanks for the video Mike. Is there enough room to put the fans on the front side of the mounting just inside the front panel? or does that platic ridge on the front panel get in the way?
you might get one maybe or slimline ones might work out, need to get some more hands on time with it really

Use these all the time for my budget customer builds, there a good little case for the money.
it does seem to be solid and some nice features to be honest

Also do you need to connect the SATA power if you connect it to the motherboard 3pin? Sorry if it is a dumb question I just don't want to blown up my new motherboard 😆

I do not think it is a bad case to be honest it has the height
3 fans in the front , one in the back 2 up top for in / out of air to escape quickly enough
nice rgb fans if you wish
the strips at the back for your gpu i have plenty of them i can replace them
now the side glass panel easy enough it is not going to get to hot and pull them strips of but if you wish you can use others
if you got enough intake / and outtake of air going through the case you will not be going in enough to clean any dust that will be visible
now the bottom case the cheap filter to the psu easy sorted get a magnetic one as they are cheap to buy .
the side for wiring management has enough space and for your ssds
i believe it is a universally case which your self can improve it
i do like it and will buy it as i need a case with a budget value

it is a pretty decent all rounder, nothing about it is amazing and nothing about it is a deal breaker, it is easy to see why this case sells in such high volumes especially at the current price here in the UK

I was Looking at the MSI CREATOR 400M - but then saw the price! £217.43 + £15 delivery on Amazon - having a laugh there I think
I don't really need a new case but if and when I do get one it needs to be an upgrade so would need a USB tye-C port and/or a hinged/swing side glass side panel.
That vampiric isn't bad though and maybe OK for an upgrade to my grandson's rig.

Bottom line, If you're purchasing a case at that price point you are not going to have high expectations. However, I think for the money it's not that bad and you aren't putting high-end components in it anyway. I usually buy cases like that just to do a build with my slightly outdated, leftover PC parts. 😁 For that I just did A thing feeling! Great Video! Thank You! "Please do a build in it as well"

Hi, Mike. That's one cheap case in my opinion. I'm thinking of buying a new case soon. Probably either a Thermaltake View 51 or a second Thermaltake Level 20 HT. Question for you, Mike. Are there any full tower cases that you would recommend? Money's not an issue.
for a full tower i guess the corsair 5000 series or bigger, otherwise the thermaltake p8 maybe

I have had 3 MSI cases, I wont buy them again, for bad air flow issues even with front mesh. I have now got a tech forge case that does much much better on the cooling front. I thought most MSI motherboards have a MSI case sticker, if they need the fanboi points?

It reminds me of the MSI vampiric 010M only with mesh front which has to be a better solution than the older version Airflow is so importsant people thinks ah it'll be alright Nope Cit Class case had me troubleshooting for a Year since getting the 220T airflow problem gone i think my componants were spiking too quickly and causing freezes and stutters solved with tripple fan and Air ! Who knew lol
air is necessary for humans and computers. sometimes a little water too

Hi Mike, i couldn't find a follow up video where you did a build with this case. Are you able to tell me how to connect the front strip to the motherboard to control the argb lights? I'm hoping to use this case with Asus Aura Sync if possible.
I was in the live stream 2 weeks ago I think if you want to see the whole build and the RGB, but I used a older board so the connection to the motherboard is not shown

it is just the case and fixing screws, all the other bits need to be sourced to build the pc

How do you make the lights & fan activate without a motherboard wired in? I thought the main switch needs to be wired via the mobo to power up... Is there a simple trick I'm missing?
yes a jumper on the PSU makes it think there is a power source

how do I install two 3.5 HDD on to the drive tray? I bought another one cause I thought I had space, but then I only see one slots to screw it from the side. I also saw the manual only has one HDD drive. Is it really possible to install two?
one goes on the top of the caddy, install that first, then the other goes inside the caddy

no there is a little noise to them as they are ball bearing fans not fluid dynamic, but at low rpm's very quiet
