In retrospect, he acted it out pretty well. At the end of the speech he says "Good luck figuring it out" and by that he's probably referring to the puzzle embedded in the "BSoD"
I really like him, he’s one the very few in the tech industry who’s always striving for the cutting edge in gaming. Unlike other companies who just try to please their shareholders.
all the half life memes aside Gabe is a hero and always will be. His impact on gaming will never be forgotten and I hope that by the end of his career he will show us he can raise the bar even higher than ever conceived

Windows is the Xbox of OS for gaming. You just slap it on there and you're off to the races not much you can mess up. A lot of games are built around the idea of gamers running on windows machines and that makes troubleshooting game problems easier. If you're having a game issue related to Linux you have to be way more knowledgeable to fix it. That's not practical and expecting all PC gamers to learn and use Linux is unrealistic.

My assumption is your friend is either trying to run a specific 32 bit program with a memory leak and is calling that 'multiple games', or it's that he has faulty memory sticks in his computer.

Linux gaming on Steam is just epic! I have over 400 games in my library and only a handful of those don't work. The rest are just bliss, 10+ year olf hardware on Resident Evil The Village at 3440x1440 and it ran a buttery 60fps from start to finish. I am also in love with my Deck and bought it primarily because it was Linux. Good job.
