    Love your tutorials. Next time somebody gets on my nerve, I'll tell them to "go paint grass".
    P.S. I also painted some grass with your tutorial. Feeling calm and relaxed.

    u r so relaxing to watch, i love ur 3 rules and honestly the little 'we're not scared' and 'this doesn't bother me' make drawing w u therapeutic. it's like like following bob ross but game design

    I could watch your tutorials all day long, which I have done for 2 days now.
    They are the perfect mix of technical explanation, watching creativity as it happens, and perfect music during Timelapse (that isn’t on an endless 10 minute loop).
    Thank you for these videos. They’re so relaxing and informative.

    This is exactly the kind of tutorials I have been looking for. I've been trying to get into scenery and backgrounds, but every tutorial I find is very...vague. So thank you. You explained this so well too and it was easy to follow real time which is a huge bonus, I didn't have to pause the video at all.

    how did you setup your tablet to paint that smooth stroke? I can't do that with my wacom, it always left a round tail at every stroke end point

    • @lucianstolemybike3337
      @lucianstolemybike3337 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know it's been a year but if you still haven't figured it out - try unchecking "smoothing" in your brush options. It's not a perfect fix but it looks works much better for me.

    • @perori_neko
      @perori_neko ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lucianstolemybike3337 thanks, I finally realized it's an algorithm issue of wacom driver a year ago, and I switched to open tablet driver all stroke working fine even that "fast move to edge bouncing" is gone.

      @@lucianstolemybike3337 photoshop's smoothing algorithm actually very decent it covered many driver issue, if you use some less powered software in smoothing algorithm like krita you will find the situation is far more worse than PS.
      I recommend you try OTD with anti chartter and bezier interpolator filter, tweak those settings to suit you

    Hey man, so I’m currently a graphic design student halfway through my 4 year degree and I realized i don’t want to do graphic design for the rest of my life. I might want to change my major to something more drawing focused. I’m “good” at drawing but I currently don’t have the skills to compete with concept artists which would be my dream job, or something similar. I’m not sure if I should stick with graphic design and maybe self teach myself drawing later or should I commit to a drawing major. My question is would I be able to thrive w/ drawing if I change my major and hopefully get a drawing job. I was wondering if u had any advice.

    Im sorry but i kinda did not get it. In what order you draw the grass again?

    • @Gammatrap
      @Gammatrap  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried to show a couple different ways but probably the easiest for beginners is to draw the overall shape, make a clipping mask, put your shadow grass in then your lit grass above. I hope that helps.

    • @Gammatrap
      @Gammatrap  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't used Clip studio enough to remember the names of their brushes BUT it's just one of the basic round brushes that looks like a circle and you control how solid it is with your pen pressure

    ty for showing this! i am trying to get a brush with similar shape dynamics in procreate. any tips?

    • @Gammatrap
      @Gammatrap  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I think it's either in painting or drawing, (maybe airbrush) but I can't remember what's it's called exactly. Just grab every circle brush you can, and see if it does the hard edges and that the opacity is controlled by pen pressure. :)

      I think you'll just have to double tap the brush and see what you can do with it's settings. I'm a bit away from my stuff in my office so I'm sorry I can't remember that much right now.
