In my opinion, the best car there, is the '69 RT, if it is a factory 4-speed, then it might still have the Dana 60 rear end.

My 76' Charger looked just like a Cordoba except for the lights and badging and I put a 360 in it from a retired police Fury 2 and she kept up with most on the road then. Awesome stuff you have us watching.

The Duster at 24:45 is an original 340 car.
It has the rally dash, very hard to find if you need it.
At least I think the rally dash was standard on the 340's
It may have been an ordered option, on this car. But in any case it is a rare find.

@@heartoftexasbarnfindsandcl5193 well, with only 22 Hemi '71's made, and 69 440 Six Packs made in '71, if it is indeed a 440(looked like it had a 4 barrel intake, so not a six-pack), I would think it would still be quite rare...I imagine most of the '71's were 383's or 340's(yes, you could get a 340 in a Super Bee in '71)....

Every change got a "Pilot run" - not necessarily "Hand built," most times it was just a difference in trim or option package and the plant would train people on the first few they sent "Down the line."
Another fun thing to look for is the tail end of production. You'll find odd combo of options, parts from the upcoming year because they ran out of current year color steering wheel or floor mats, whatever...

I miss the good old days when you could get a ride like that for 750 and a good engine for another 300 and the car would be a good driver for a couple of years or more. That is the only way I could have been able to get and afford the 60 cars I have been blessed to have since I have been driving since 15 when once upon a time you could get a license in Pa.
