hardest part of the eidolons is to remember to check for night time, there is also arcanes that makes you immune to magnetic procs that drain your energy or you could use dante to give everyone overguard
This is the best eidolon beginner guide i've seen. Showed what I have to do in a digestible rate. Didn't do it the sweaty way so the beginners can keep track of what's going on screen
Thanks for the glowing comment, I figured zipping around in vault wouldn't be very easy for people to get used to. This way should be able to have some success and then speed up as you get a few rounds in
Tip I’ll give any beginner for this; Options Accessibly Highlight enemies Density 50% This high lights all enemies red, from far away, wish I knew this when I started out but it makes it so much easier to track any enemy from any distance, no more looking around.
Few Tips to add: When the Host enters the Plains the best he can do is fly straight up and look for the blue light which indicates where the Teralyst is spawning and put a marker there. And for Teralyst capture you just need 2 Charged Lures not 3. The Scream itself isnt actually draining your Energy, its the Magnetic Status that happens during the Scream, so if you get Status Immune you dont have to worry about losing your Energy. Arcane Nullifier for example protects against that and its a drop from the Eidolon Teralyst, so the more you do him the easier he gets literally.
Great video! Eidolons seem so busy but this video was paced in a way that didn't make it seem as overwhelming & meta dependent. Looking forward to the toroid video!
Im pretty experienced when it comes to end game tridolons and all but i still love checking out guides and i have to say this is one of the best I've seen. Keep at it man. This was great
With or without a necromech, this was excellent. So many of these tutorials skip the little tips you offered, racing through. Also love the loc-pin tip since having a screenshot of a map just isn't as good. Thanks very much.
I really needed this slow and detailed guide. Every other video about eidolons goes by a lot faster and I come away not much better than before. I'm gonna play this again when I prep and do my first solo eidolon.
Best video out there, putting yourself in the same exact position of your audience, setting yourself up with the same tools and the same gear that your audience will have is a great way to set an example of what it should look like, great video man, you earned another sub today.❤
I'll be very honest. I'm very glad I found this. Made things look so much simpler. I always found myself getting so confused about the lures and charging and how to do that. Thank you.
Thank you so much. I've been trying to get into Eidolons ever since they launched; been on and off the game. This video finally made me understand everything I need to know to get started 👍👍
This is a million times easier description compared to other channels. I am only worried about my operator doing enough damage, the rest I already have well setup or understand.
By far the most realistic and actual beginners guide I've seen. Most people jump straight into doing it optimally with a bunch of arcanes and hyper expensive builds (including one that used two umbra forma) and thats not what a beginners guide is for
Going to attempt this tomorrow, I’ve been looking for weeks to get somebody to help me do this for the first time, I need eidolon shards to level up the quill, this guide has been amazing, and I will be following it tomorrow!!
Great tips, I randomly joined a Night lobby, and the host player knew what he was doing, and thankfully I sort of caught on, how to damage and avoid the eidolons attacks. But ultimately didnt have a clue on a lot, so this helps a ton, thanks!
Reading comprehension must have went down in the past few years. This is an Eidolon Guide for Beginners. Meaning you are beginning to HUNT EIDOLONS. His title isn’t wrong, you just can’t read.
For people that say completing zariman and having a necramech is not beginner, yes it is. Is part of the main story and you can get there in less than 100 hours, so its pretty beginner imo. Also, great guide, easy to understand and to follow :)
You only need 2 lures for the teralyst, each charged lure can connect to 2 broken joints, just a heads up for you guys, also easier to charge 1 before getting another, but great video for people learning👌👍
I have a small thing people can do to make it easier. When you spawn use the archwing fly up into the sky and look for a beam of light coming from some water. Mark it with a waypoint and then go get 2 lures. Each lure can latch onto 2 broken limbs once charged and the first eidolon has only 4 :) the initial flying up and waypoint helps a lot because I forgot to do it when I first came back to this game after a year or 2 and I was flying around for a long time trying to find it
Nice Guide.. Only been on two Hunts since playing this game, been in the game for about 7 to 8 years aside from when 2013 hit I didn't play long took a break since playing alone, and had n one to do these Hunts often and with people. Plan to aim to build my Volt to do these hunts, But still would like to have some people to do them with.
In a nutshell: * Pick a minimun of 3 Lures * Farm tiny Eidolon Vombalyst * When you got at least one Lure full, start attacking Terralyst * Shoot head to destroy defense with operator, then attack joint * Keep Lure connected to the terralyst and keep farming Vombalysts * Repeat process and then try to have at least 3 lures activated * Done
To all the new players, you don’t have to do these alone. During the night Konzu has a that you can do. Just set your matches to public and people will help you.
Nice guide, personally, I like to fly up high when entering the plain and search for blue light (where the teralyst spawn) and mark it in advance so it is easier to find
That's me every year I generally come back to it December and January for some reason and then leave it for 10 months. It's basically a Ritual for me at this point 😆

I don't have any of these things yet necessary to this. I can use my Tenno, but I don't have a drifter yet. I always feel like I'm closing in on something and then learn that I'm still not even close to ready for it yet lol. So just to be clear, I should beat the game first and then come do Eidolons? Because right now I'm prepping for the New War quest, don't have my necramech yet, don't actually even know how to get one, and wanted to farm arcanes to make that quest easier because everyone says it's very difficult if you're undergeared, and all of the "beginner friendly" content that I watch always includes arcanes in builds.
Awesome video for new tenno but you did miss 2 things I do want to point out Odonatas 1/shield gives a hidden 50% heat and crit damage buff (useful for those that dislike using necramechs) And void strike(2nd operator ability) does work on the eidolon increasing amp damage
Lots of stuff missing in the video like when you start the mission you exit door arkwing fly up and look for a blue ring that's the spawn I like to fly to it and mark it then I grab lures
Fellow Ken Kaneki fan I see Don’t know how no one noticed ig great recognizes great and you earn a sub Or kakashi he’s awesome too Basically any badass character with one red eye is a goat Borderline facts
Where do you get the Angels of the Zariman quest? I don’t think I got that quest though I’ve done every other one that has popped up except the new war which I need a necromech for which I don’t have yet
One correction: the drifter and sirocco become available after completing The New War, not Angels of Zariman. Also, if we are looking for crit damage, I like the Nataruk, which you also get from The New War. The way I have mine modded (without any primed mods), it has 150% crit chance, 4.8x crit damage, 80% status chance, 2.5 multishot, and >18k damage on a perfect shot. Not to mention the 15% chance to enhance critical hits on primary weapons, courtesy of the Vigilante set. Only issue: since it is a bow, the projectiles are a bit slow, which might make you miss a moving target. The Nataruk, unlike other bows, uses bolts of pure energy, and therefore has infinite ammo and range.
@@baudsp idk about that I have a friend that barely has 100h in the game and already completed zariman, he is MR 10 and I would definitely considere him a beginner.
This is a really good guide as despite I played for so long, I never try to hunt Eidolon coz it is too grindy for my taste, but may I also ask for the build on the trinity ?
@@JoeHammerGaming but necramechs arent dealt with till new war and you can easily have upgraded your amp by then and have a decent sniper. Im really new and having a necramech fully kitted isnt new player friendly imo. I would say your guide would be for more mid level players looking to farm eidolons not brand new players doing their 1st. i have done new war yet and have a 1-1-1 amp and it was super fast to do once i googled how to enter the quills place.
@joshuabecker3647 that's the purpose of having a step by step series to make things like this easier. The alternative is doing eidolons with a bad amp as you can't get a good one without wither doing eidolons or profit taker so why would I suggest people struggle when they could just progress the game and do it easily? You doing my guides a different order to my series isn't my fault or problem.
How do you get energy for the necramech? I'm only able to destroy one or two of its Synovia before my nechramech has no energy left to use it's 4th ability. I've watched several guides and none say anything about this.
"IMO best to get one fill it then grab the 2nd between phases" this would require knowledge of where all lures are and being fast enough to collect between phases which is not first encounter friendly and so irrelevant to a beginner's guide. "For only one eidolon you only need 2 lures" you must have skipped something to have not heard me say you only need 2 for the first eidolon and 3 for any after
Voidrig is essential for progressing the main questline and unlocking access to content while the k-drive is not therefore people should have both a voidrig and railjack before spending time on k-drives
@@RenVolkert new player here its not really a sidequest anymore. its almost handed to you. ive killed multiple eidolons but dont have a necramech. kdrives are very begginer friendly

Anything that is required to beat the main story (which you should do before facing end game bosses) is for beginners release order doesn't dictate that
"For beginners" - Need to have Angels of Zahriman and Duviri for drifter - Need Nechromechs - Need the Archwing upgrade for open zones - Need arcanes I'm sure I missed more but I'm MR 16 and I don't got any of what I listed
I assume you're aware that angels of zariman is about 2 quests after unlocking the operator and duviri is available right out of the gate and is literally intended by the devs for new players to access easily. Additionally I specifically said I wouldn't be using arcanes so I have no idea where you think i said you need arecanes. You could face them earlier with just your operator the only change would be you're using the mote amp which sucks which is why i recommend waiting. I don't know how you got this far into the playlist without them. The series works by me only using things previous to that video in the playlist if you skipped ahead that's on you
Im sorry but level 9 is when u should eidolon hunting. Go max strength wisp with adaption and mirage subsume ability madurai with 123 amp and lastly a rubico with good damage and crit boost
Arcane adapters become available from teshin in steel path. It stands to reason that farming arcanes should be done at at that point. Why farm arcanes which until recently only give minor benefits when you could be progressing to unlocking tenet and/or incarnon weaponry while unlocking access to more content which is why the playlist is in the order it is in. If you didn't check the playlist which is pointed to in the video, that is your fault
as a new player having a necramech fully kitted out and built is not even remotely new friendly. i started hunting teralysts the last 3 days with a sniper, volt and a 1-1-1 amp which is way faster to get than a necramech and way easier. its not as fast as with a necramech obvs but you can do it way earlier in the game. i also used mirage last night for the dopplegangers and it worked fine.
Anything required by main story is 100% beginner stuff which the nechramech is. By your definition someone's first attempt at any subject after earth isn't new player friendly which is a silly standard. By that metrix no one can do a beginner guide to archons
Any tips on how to find the Terralyst - I joined a public bounty and it was me and another new player - we hacked the lures and then spent 30 minutes flying around on our Archwings looking we couldn't find the eidolon anywhere and it changed from night time to day time.
That's not true, it means the host lost it. As Soon as the first person spawns in: fly up in the air, look down/straight. You see a light blue circle on ground and teralyst coming out of the circle. 1st person to spawn out of the door has to find it.

You could face them earlier with just your operator the only change would be you're using the mote amp which sucks which is why i recommend waiting. I don't know how you got this far into the playlist without them. The series works by me only using things previous to that video in the playlist if you skipped ahead that's on you
My friend and I watched videos and used the wiki to find all that out. We're MR6 and about to go into these
if you are mr16 and didnt unlock all these then you are doing something wrong.
@@renisrrenis9225 Bro I was MR16 before these things came out, come off it bozo hahaha.
@@rorekthedemon and again you are absurdly wrong. Just say it that you are not a smart one.
funny how that word beginners can call to either someone with 5 hours or 100 hours
how do you change to the drifter? i did that quest but chose the operator.
I'm MR29 and I still stuggle with it lol
I dare say, when a player finishes, they are already far from being a begginer
You could have done everything else in the game and still be a beginner at doing eidolons as they are not required content
Great job but i had to watch with speed at 0.75x 😭
Why is this so complicated.... Like from a lore standpoint what are we doing here?
How do you get the sirocco ?
Wow condescending in this video color me impressed
And you’re not more so fast that it looks like teleportation
Do i really need to do this for the story ?
Hi. How do i know if i need more vom creatures . Sorry im new .
Is Necromech beginner stuff? I'd think if you had a nechromech you'd be pretty established. But its been a bit since I've played.
as a new player having a necramech fully kitted out and built is not even remotely new friendly. i started hunting teralysts the last 3 days with a sniper, volt and a 1-1-1 amp which is way faster to get than a necramech and way easier. its not as fast as with a necramech obvs but you can do it way earlier in the game. i also used mirage last night for the dopplegangers and it worked fine.
Anything required by main story is 100% beginner stuff which the nechramech is. By your definition someone's first attempt at any subject after earth isn't new player friendly which is a silly standard. By that metrix no one can do a beginner guide to archons
Game won’t let me start angels of zariman tho
Any tips on how to find the Terralyst - I joined a public bounty and it was me and another new player - we hacked the lures and then spent 30 minutes flying around on our Archwings looking we couldn't find the eidolon anywhere and it changed from night time to day time.
there's a bug where he doesn't spawn at all. only thing you can do is go to orbiter and try again.
That's not true, it means the host lost it. As Soon as the first person spawns in: fly up in the air, look down/straight. You see a light blue circle on ground and teralyst coming out of the circle. 1st person to spawn out of the door has to find it.
How do you not have a scope like tht?
How do you get that quest
