You might try Rub n Buff for gilding raised elements like the veining on the wings. You can dry brush it on really quickly and it comes in various metal shades.

I've seen a lot of budget candles with lids in glass, even have several at home already. I feel like getting some acrylics and making a collection of the dupe version of that blue candle you showed with the greenery and flowers!

My mouth dropped open when I saw the final result of the candle. It is one of the most beautiful DIY projects I have ever seen on TH-cam. I would pay a nice sum for a product like that, if you ever chose to see them, in any color!!! And as always, you inspire me to push my own creativity in the projects I make. This month is all about Easter and grandchildren.... finding crafts that are age appropriate and fun to do!!

That candle was awesome👍very uplifting...will we see a library wall in a future project to store all your BOTM books?..my local library has a similar BOTM program for books, and also includes audiobooks...we are lovin' it, since we don't have a lot of space, it works for us.
