I never seen Phenom so animated. The guy is so usually calm and collected in fights like he’s not even trying. This is the hardest I’ve seen him try 😂😂😂

For me, Tawanchai is the best Muay Thai fighter today. He is undoubtedly a prodigal. Impeccable technique, speed, power, mental quickness, emotional tranquility, versatility and growing experience. You can not ask for more.
He’s a fascinating fighter, he doesn’t have punching or kicking techniques that trainers drill into students at Muay Thai camps, his feet are fairly flat footed, he doesn’t lift into the toes very much, he drops his other hand when he throws a punch, he leans too far forward for boxing - and yet he’s one of the most vicious strikers I’ve ever seen. Insane fluidity and power. It really seems the top level guys learn technique and then abandon it.
Him leaning forward & dropping his lead hand on the cross is a Southpaw thing.. it looks weird and fundamentally irresponsible, but trust me I’m a southpaw & I notice all southpaws do it.. From Manny Pacquiao to Connor Mcgregor & Gervonta Davis

@@jonhawes753 i believe, it’s because we’re in a open stance so our angles are different with the matching rear hands. You have a clearer path to lead with your rear hand.. i have a kid that i train, we spar. And I’m only person he’s sparred thus far, if u ever watch him shadow box he throws like he’s fighting a southpaw with alotta of lead right hands & touch n Rip type rear upper cuts.

Taiwanchai looks like an Old school Muay Thai Golden era fighter !

I disagree, he's the next gen of Nak Muays with his world class, fast-twitch athleticism, and explosive footwork closing distance. Just watch his KO of Niklas Larsen with an explosive AF gazelle 3-2, it's stunningly beautful and violent. Show me a KO like that in the Golden era, you can't. His athleticism and blending of other fighting styles is the next evolution of MT. Golden era guys were incredible but they mostly just did Thai rock or teep bounce with roundhouse exchanges (except the GOAT Samart). Tawanchai is DIFFERENT.
Tawanchai is my guy. He comes before Superlek, SuperBon and Rontank. He just looks like an emotionless cold calculated killer in the ring

@@FightRecord No, no short cuts. If Tawanchai beats Superbon then yeah he should get a shot at the Featherweight kickboxing title. But looking at the rankings Kiria doesn't even register on any of the top 5 elite fighters at 35 I feel this his last shot at glory Fighting is truly a young mans sport unless your a genetic mutant xmen styles

Great practice with another teacher in the ring who wants Twanchai's padded sparring partner/trainer to move in/out like in the real fight, love the skipping side "teep", those kicks are very powerful, good stuffs.
His front teep is so ungodly fast and smooth. I can’t believe anyone can see it coming.

@@FightRecord he look better this way. More robust and natural. The low weight class may have been holding him back some. More muscle and a bit more fat will make him even more explosive and strong. And thats a scary thought
