Beware it's HOTER then most parks . The talk about manatees is out in the sun and you die of heat over that cement. It is pretty rough to get a riding wheelchair around . It is well worth seeing Everything it's small and spread out. Be sure to ride the boat.
I’m so sorry! I even looked it up before recording this and listened to a few other people pronounce it and I still got it wrong. I’ve been told a million times, but I appreciate the constant reminder! Too bad there is nothing I can do to fix it now. Hopefully you could still enjoy it without the constant cringe. I really did my best.
Hello everyone! Homosassa Springs is a very unique Florida state park! Have you been to any other unique Florida State Parks?
I was there on 11/27/2023 and so glad to see Lu and the manatees were in abundance in the waters and viewing areas.
Thank you Chrissa! I can't wait to see Florence! 😍 Jessica
Wow! A hippo that’s 63! I wasn’t aware they lived that long 😮
Right?! He is a legend in the area!
Wonderful video. I am looking forward to moving to Homosassa soon.
Very Nice Video My Dear Friends 👍👍👍
Thank you!

Went there saturday, great lil park
Homosassa Springs looks really awesome. To see so many wildlife up close. Lou The Hippo and me are about the same age 😮
Love seeing different kinds of wildlife. The boat ride would be nice and relaxing. Splatter zone 😳
This is a Gorgeous Park I have been there too many times to count.... I miss the hippo 🦛❤️🤗

Nov-Mar there are so many manatees, you could walk across the river on their backs😉
The video would've been more enjoyable if you didn't keep pronouncing "Homosassa" incorrectly.

@@ChrissaTravels the video is otherwise very informative and features the best of the area. I used to live nearby, and it is so beautiful there. ☺️
