- DYNO TEST of our Burger Tuning JB4 Map 6 (Custom Ethanol Blend ECU tune) on our otherwise stock 2023 Toyota GR Supra (MKV Supra) project car to find out exactly how much horsepower and torque YOU may expect to gain from a JB4 custom ethanol tune from Jesse DaBears of 1FastSupra! Our GR Supra ran multiple dyno pulls on the DYNOJET dyno that we then compared to our recently establish Supra baseline power figures as well as confirming our baseline power figures by testing the car on the JB4 Map 0 (STOCK) tune. Does the Burger Tuning JB4 piggy-back ECU tuner produce the added horsepower that YOUR looking for? Next up, we're going to install and DYNO test a high-flowing catted or catless DOWNPIPE. The standard OTS tunes didn’t work well for me, most likely due to my high altitude. However, the custom tune from Mr DaBears works just fine 😉. Feels good on the road 👍
I need to catch up on the previous vids on the Supra, but jumping into it with this video is telling me the Supra has been coming along quite nicely! Not to mention it’s still as beautiful as ever!

I run straight E30 from the pump into my 2018 G80 Sport using Map 3 on my JB4 (+ pedal commander) and the car is night & day from stock. I run map 4 during late spring and early fall and a bottle of boostane noticeable difference over Map 3.
Yes, I have a X3M with JB4 only...I run around on map 1 as a daily, and pour in some E and switch maps and it makes a HUGE difference. JB4 loves the octane.
@@tunerdadtunerdad7927 if you have access to straight E30, I wouldn't be afraid to run it straight. My car sat for 6 months this past winter with 25 gallons of it (no stabil), and it has run fine this spring/summer/now early fall.

The stock tires really hold the cars 0-60 time back when adding power

r888r tyres in 285 on stock rear fixed alot of the grip issue.

Peak boost is higher for both stock and the JB4 tune than what you’ve indicated.
So what is the SAE corrected WHP? 465?

The JB4 is a piggyback controller that does not require the ECU to be unlocked 👍😁
Curious on the numbers on another dyno... Never seen anyone hit close to 600 wheel torque on a JB4. Leads me to believe this dyno has some calibration issue
Afr is lean it shows (14) on the phone mid run , I’m running in to the same problem but I don’t know how to richin up the mixture, any help ??

Two questions for today. How do you make the 33% ethanol blend? Why is the trunk open message appearing on your message screen?
I use the Fuel-it app to help determine how much E85 to mix with my regular gas that usually has ~10% ethanol. I have an ethanol gauge to tell me the exact percentage.
The trunk wasn’t open, maybe you were seeing the hood open warning light 🤷♂️

What do I need to run map 3
JB4 and e85 mixed with 93 (or 91, depending on where you live)
Very strange you have the max HP between 4500 and 5500rpm (like a modified Diesel) instead of like 6000-7000rpm like a true gasoline engine.
Actually it's quite normal for the MKV Supra, as well as many modern day turbocharged cars like our other project car, the 10th Gen Honda Accord. The turbos are sized such that there is minimal turbo lag, abundant low end torque, and power usually peaks before redline.
@@TheLemonFactor I've seen here in Europe many tuned B58 and they have max hp over 6k rpm. Power always peaks before redline but not 1500rpm before redline. I think the problem with this type of tune is it does not maintain the peak torque flat until higher rpms and instead it drops too early so at higher rpm you have too low torque hence lower power at max rpms ))
And what is interesting they make over 500 crank HP with a tune, a downpipe and intake on pump gas ))
@@Eugen-EThe power peaks sooner than cars at sea-level because he's at a much higher elevation and the turbo is running out of breath most likely.
