  • Luke starts his journey through Vietnam in the capital, Hanoi. He meets with Vietnamese-Australian Jimmy Pham, founder of KOTO - a pioneering social enterprise providing hospitality training to transform the lives of disadvantaged youth.
    To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Australia-Vietnam diplomatic relations, host Luke Nguyen - an Australian-Vietnamese chef and restauranteur - travels through Vietnam meeting with inspiring Australians who represent the spirit of the Australia-Vietnam relationship while cooking with Australian produce and enjoying Vietnamese regional dishes.

    As a Vietnamese, it’s ashamed to admit that the culture of indiscriminate littering and unhygienic food will keep Vietnam a third world slum country for generations to come.
