The real test of an american celebrity is how they cope on a british talk show, u need a good sense of humour and the ability to have a back and forth. Rupaul is popular here because he can do that

As an American, I admit that I totally judge other Americans based upon how well they do on British talk and panel shows. RuPaul is way up there.
No kidding!! This is my first time watching clips from this show and it makes American talk shows look pathetic!
He's a great interview, especially when the interviewer is willing to go there. Ru is one of my heroes. Love his message.

It does seem that nice, but the guests are asked when booked and on the day what they would like to drink, so there's no surprises.
When he asked Ru and Ru said yes, I was like, "Mutha, your progress!" Oh, Alan did the research. What a lad. 😊❤

@@judyayson Ru just got lazy about his own drag. He isn't really performing in drag and the entire look from hair over makeup to dress is all done by other people. And all he does with that is walk down the runway for 10 seconds and then sit behind a panel. Not once does he show up on the big Drag Race world tour.

RuPaulCharles is very open and he is just the way we know him. But Mama Ru is freaking gorgeous i feel like i would stare at her all day long which would make it awkward. Still waiting on that UK version if Drag Race. I'm shocked one of the major channels hasn't picked it up with how popular the show has become. It's absolutely huge, and Drag originated in the UK (thank you Shakespeare), come on Channel 4 - you could have the two biggest (and best) reality TV shows on your channel!

oabuseer actually the term drag (dressed resembling a girl) is where the term drag queen comes from. it was first used in 1870 in Europe, most believe to be Uk. Shakespeare popularised it as women weren't allowed on stage and men had to play all roles.
Amy Louise yeah I've read various reports. I'm just surprised no one has jumped on it, drag has always been more conventional in this country with Lily Savage and Dame Edna. I think it would fit in on channel 4 very well as well.

I was jamming to Supermodel back in the day, with my walkman on the playground. I had no idea RuPaul was a drag queen, but as soon as I found out I was even more enamored. Love how open Rupaul has always been. Love that Alan tucked a banana in RuPaul's presence. With RuPaul's help. Love this show. ❤✨

Absolutely not! Channel 5 only pick up shows that no one wants anymore, like Big Brother, that needed to of stopped after the second series. And Bake Off will be god awful now that the main presenters aren't in it anymore. Like I said the BBC should get drag race.
