      What time of year did you visit Tonsai? And does it get really crowded like the rest of Railay?

      Jumping Places what camaro do you use for all your video and do you use a gimbal ?

    • @JumpingPlaces
      @JumpingPlaces  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No gimbal, In Thailand was mainly using the GoPro 7 which already has awesome stabilization but the audio is bad in windy situations. My GoPro 7 died so I have been using my older cannon g7x Mark 2 camera for the past few months. I plan to get the new gopro 8 when I can which has even better stabilization and quality than the last gopro

    beautiful limestone mountains. really huge too. Thailand has her own charms. she seems very like exotic. like, cant’t explain. so different vibes from the Philippines. The huts, I think, were awesome. very hippoe indeed. Just needs cool ventilation, I guess. Not sure why they calling it a dump.

    Does Tonsai have any accommodations that have air conditioner? Because it looks beautiful, but the hell if I'll stay in a hot place without AC.

      @JumpingPlaces  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I love this channel Chris. And, I love you and Carol's personality/disposition. Even when you guys are clearly staying in a dump, you always seem to stay chill and look at things positively. You seem to keep things simple materialy, and take new places as they are not how you want them to be. It takes that kind of attitude to travel the world, learn, and see new things. So many people could learn a lot from how you guys do it. Keep it up 👍

      Agreed, plus $21 for a night in a shag that you can build by yourself from debris wood... I mean I could just sleep on a bench if I have to but if you are paying that much you should get something at least half that value...

    In 2016 I went to Thailand and I decided to stay in Patong instead of Krabi, it was a last minute decision that showed to be an error . It was a rookie mistake on my first travel in to the Southeast Asia. Krabi is much more relaxing and beautiful than the overcrowded Patong. Take care.

    Tonsai is not full of hippies , its full of climbers wehre u think are hippies.... live style is not to different doe. Tonsai is under the top 10 worldwide spots for climbing....so yeahhh that's why u have so many there :) Same counts for Riley....Riley looked 10 years ago same like Tonsai. But since People love beaches and Railey Pra Nang bay is under the top 5 list of "most beautiful" beaches world wide, it has change much faster than Tonsai. Therefore u have much moire tourism there than Tonsay and also get regular tourist instead of mainly Climbers. Living there since 8 years :)
