Man, I agree with you 100%! Frida is in the top five hottest women stars in the world, and she always has been. The group ABBA was the best combination of women and men ever, and while the men could write and play real well, and Agnatha had a very good sopranno voice, it was Frida that made me watch them every time. Frida ruled!

While Frida is the more spontanious & carefree dancer, it was nice to see Agnetha getting into it with the choriography at the end part. That dance was used during their world tour and can be seen on "ABBA The Movie".
I think Agnetha could be a bit unsure of herself..and she had a fear of crowds...but once she warmed up a little she definitely had a stage presence. She's definitely in the zone in all the Wembley performances.

I have so enjoyed watching your relationship with Frida blossom. And on that note, may I suggest something a little out of the ordinary? In 1996 Frida released a solo album after so many years of being silent. The single on the album called djupta andetag (deep breaths) is Aven en blomma (Even a flower) and yes, she released it in Swedish. Don't let this discourage you though, I believe your reaction to Aven en blomma will prove that love is understood in all languages. And yes, she released a great video to go along with the single which helps explain the context of the song.
That was a great album of hers.

Told you the Frida Blockers wouldn’t work. I hope you enjoyed the video, it’s one of their best live performances. Frida loved to dance and had a bigger stage presence than Agnetha, who was a bit shy.

"So long" (1974)
has many interesting things to analyze
its rhythm is in the similar glam rock style of "Waterloo", it was recorded in 1974, months after ABBA's triumph at Eurovision
And since the reissue of “Ring Ring” after “Waterloo” barely made it into the UK Top 40, ABBA's search for a second hit to reinforce “Waterloo” focused on “So long” precisely because of its rhythm and style in the vein of "Waterloo"
But it didn't even make it onto the UK charts, only #91 believe
The following year ABBA would try "I do I do I do I do I do" another Top 40, until finally it was "S.O.S." that broke the ‘only one hit’ curse to #6 in the UK and #15 in the US, and from then on ABBA was the hit-after-hit machine.
"So long" I think is more aggressive than "Waterloo", and at the same time more fun (but don't have the magic of "Waterloo")
Agnetha and Frida do one of their most memorable choreographies

And the live performance on the 1977 Australia Tour is spectacular, is the last song (before the encores)
"So long" is a very good song that unfortunately did not have commercial success
But ABBA always included it in their first TV specials until 1976 included.

Frida LOVED being on stage. This was a good song for dancing, but there are some other performances where you can see her just dying to break out...but she seems to realize it's not appropriate to go full on Frida 😁

Oh and just a fact that when you mentioned a storm raining down on Frida, in 1977 when they toured Australia at their 3rd of March concert in Sydney the rain did come down with a vengance while they performed. They played on with a very wet stage and Frida had a nasty fall but got up again like the consumate performer she is and continued the show. They risked their lives that night but didnt want to let down the crowd of 20.000 who had waited hours in the pouring rain to see them.
