I have to say, my transition from Canon has been hard because I’ve been using them for years, but it seems like you guys really take care of your own. Props to Sony and I will definitely let you know how the Camera performs once I get my hands on it. Thank you!
Canon really blew it with the R5. It’s like they didn’t realize that people would want to shoot continuous high quality video without limitations. All they had to do was offer the 4K HQ mode without overheating and lose the arbitrary time limit. Sony has kicked their ass. I would imagine that over half of the R5 preorders are now being cancelled in favor of the Sony A7sIII. Way to go Sony!

VolvoGuy_ trust me it was pretty tough. To me, I thought about Canon’s autofocus, the lenses, everything. Then I thought about Sony. Thought about how they understand their market and customer base. Sony delivers on promises and responds with everything people have been asking for. I believe there’s no wrong camera either way, but somehow I just trust Sony now. They’re true to their word.

You should watch Tales by Light on Netflix. It's about photography journalists and their projects. Its 3 seasons long too.

It’s clearly about both. Just because he mentioned the camera doesn’t mean he didn’t appreciate the magnificence of creating this film. The film is moving and makes people want to buy the equipment, even if they will never be able to create such a masterpiece themselves.

2020 has been the most difficult year in generations. Thank you to these inspirational filmmakers for your contribution of hope and inspiration to all of us. All of the stumbles and misfires in this film represent what all of us are going through right now, but seeing humanity on a wire under the light of a full moon proves that there’s literal light at the end of this long tunnel. 😎
