One thing I forgot to mention is that I had to warm up the melt and pour periodically in the microwave for about 10 seconds because it would start to solidify in the container.

Hi I luv your channel do you have to put the ingredients on your soaps as well when selling them. I'm learning day by day of how to start my skin and body care business. Thanks in advance. 🙂

Happy New Year! Thanks for sharing this simple project. Question please. Would you recommend someone start out with the melt & pure method shown above or lye ingrediencies etc. method? TYIA

Happy New Year! I started out with making cold process soap because I wanted to have more control over ingredients and designs but melt and pour is much easier for beginners. You'd have to weigh out your options, like do you want the soap to cure in days (m&p) or weeks (cp). It's really just preference.

My M&P seems to solidify very quickly is it because its over heated? I have tried melting it both ways the microwave and the double boiler

Super cute! Do you have to wait for the soap to cool down a bit after melting before you add the fragrance and colors? Or can you just add once melted? Thanks in advance! This is such a pretty soap. I love it!

That will depend on the flash point of your fragrance or essential oil. I always make sure that it is under the flash point so that I don't lose the scent

@@charmeasedris I’m sorry, I’m new to soap making. Not sure what a flash point is 🥺 thank you for replying. I know you’re busy. I appreciate you!
