@@SpFres1 Not because I have been part of its history do I recognize that this is one of the most legendary, iconic and recognizable racing cars of all time. In 2000, when we won the title at the hands of the great Ryo Michigami and also as a team (Mugen x Dome Project) it was a big surprise, we had expectations, but we did not believe that it would be given to us so soon being a relatively new project. It brings a tear to my eye every time I see or hear about it... this beauty was responsible for the first Honda GT500 title in history. The Castrol Mugen NSX chassis is like all other NSX-GTs of the era: updated since the 1999 JGTC season, there were no major modifications between the 1999 and 2000 specifications, except for the redesign of the body (especially at the rear /exhaust) and an increase of approximately 50 kg that many do not know and I have heard some say that the weight was added at the rear, but in reality it was not like that, load was added from the center to the front mainly due to demand from Ryo who felt the machine was somewhat light and presented understeer.
@@AtiendoDolobus Great info, did the engines bear any resemblance to the standard C32B NSX's engine or were they a completely different unit loosely based on the road car's one ? Have to say that GT500 days were the best days of Super GT, shame it didn't have much exposure outside of Japan
I remember seeing this car in my childhood days in GT3 when I was about 5.... and seeing it in GT7 again does bring some nostalgia to me :') also hey, haven't commented in a while lol, nice to see you're still doin' well Rowdy. Keep the content up B)
glad we finally have the NSX to round off the JGTC GT500s, but cant help but wish we got the 1998 spec NSX, imo its more iconic and better looking than the later 2000 spec
This is what Gran Turismo 1 was known for; I fondly remember figuring out the cars on the key art (SSR5 with JGTC & Rally cars), and now, we are witnessing that same legacy live on in GT7. Please make JGTC class unique and make them one of the dailies / weeklies. That would make so many people happy.
If you look at the electronic race display you can see that it auto dims or brightens depending on if he is in a tunnel or in the sun. Really cool detail.
I was lowkey hoping we’d get customization parts that would allow us to turn this thing into a 2001 spec JGTC NSX, considering both cars from those years look extremely similar, except the fact that for 2001 the car received additional front canards and a different rear diffuser design, not to mention the roof intake also got changed in 2001. That would’ve been so cool imo.
In gt1/ 2 tracks were bympy you could feel a lot of bumps on road even with dual shock. That's what made it unique. From gt3 annd further on they become flat
Now what we need is the last generation of each cars Last Gen Supra GT500 in 2005 Last Gen Skyline GTR GT500 in 2003 (also slap the NISMO Z GT500 from 2004-2007) And the last NSX-GT GT500 in 2009
To this day there is still no better looking driving game and I dont see any new ones coming out taking over that spot anytime soon. The lighting and colors are photorealistic.
Really wish all these cars came with the game but I'm glad they're here, better late than never. Also need more of the "Original Circuits" & "City Circuits" preferably untampered with.
I agree with the original, City Circuits unfortunately we're a different story, Seattle on GT2 needs to be fully reworked due to drainage and the parking on the stadium sections we're no longer exists
@@adlibbed2138They don't really have to be, realistically yes to fit the time period, but at the end of the day it's a videogame and most people would just want the classic layout. I'm down for modern takes on them but i think the classic versions of these tracks should return

Great to see you here ! Can you give us some info about the car, some story etc

All we're waiting on is the R390 Road & Race Car, Lister Storm, XJ220 Race Car, Panoz Esperante GT-1 Race Car, Bentley Speed 8, Zonda Race Car & Ford Falcon XR-8
Minolta toyota
A 911 gt1 would also be great 😢

That car is fantastic classic 2000s of race car
that intro was immaculate
This is a perfect example of how gt7 videos should be. Amazing intro, Editing and nobody talking so you can hear the sound of the engines. Good job 👏

If only GT7 had the GT3 chase cam... Damn what a car!
JGTC GT500 Cars are awesome!!! Nice setup, PSVR2 and Fanatec are a must for GT7 ;)

Those paint reflections in close look makes nice addiction for realistic surface.
Respect for Polyphony Digital 😊
