      Rodman was a rebounding genius. No question. IMO you are correct, but I give the uploader a lot of credit for trying to dive into the truly unknown. Rodman's numbers and skill set are a matter of fact and we can all see it for what it is. Bill Russell loses a lot of well deserved love though due to the era he played in. I mean the man won 11 out of 13 years, so I can appreciate someone at least trying to give him a nod even though we can't just go to basketball reference and see his numbers. I hope that makes sense. I do believe Rodman is the best rebounder. I wish I could have seen Wilt and Russell even one time though.

      I think the era we have today makes it harder for bigs to grab rebounds, because long shots tend to bounce long, in favor of the rebounding guards.
      That said, Rodman can still rebound arguably as effectively as he did because of his combined strength, physicality and surprising bursts of quickness and speed to get the ball.

Sometimes I don't think people understand just how much can and has occurred in the last 3-5 minutes of a game. That isn't clutch time. Clutch time as stated in this video is 24 seconds (i.e. one time clock count) or less. Great video I agree with about 90% of your picks. Keep up the good work. Thanks for doing research and showing numbers rather than just making a video to get a response.

      Nah, it is much longer than 24 seconds. You can argue the 4rth quarter of any big game. Also the entirety of any game 7. Some players can't even function in game 7's.

      @@captaincc2735 The 4th quarter is 12 minutes. Lots happens in that amount of time. I've seen several stellar 4th quarters in my life. For me personally it's always been who's hands do you want the ball in with the game on the line and no second chances you miss and you lose. That pressure in my experience and my visualization of others is true clutch. It's all personal opinion, but that's why I believe my opinion. Game 7s That's a different pressure. You've allowed yourself to get backed into a corner. I wouldn't call it clutch to have a great game 7. I would say it's a type of pressure though. Now the final clock of a game 7 in the finals that would be something. Best bet is to not back yourself into that corner in the first place.

    Great Video! I agree with basically all of your selections. The only 2 I can see a different selection is: Rebounding and Defense. I can Easily see why you chose Wilt for Rebounding and Russell for Defense. But when taken in context and knowing how many misses and Rebounds there were back then, I'd give Rodman the edge here. Let's just say that no one in the Modern Era was a better rebounder than RodZilla. Pound for Pound, the GOAT of Rebounding.
    For Defense, again I can see why people will choose Russell. He is a Great Candidate. But too often when discussing Defense, players that SUCKED on offense tend to get more credit for their Defense than another Great Defensive player that is also Great on Offense. Best 2 examples are Jordan and Hakeem. Both of those are easily 2 of the GOAT's on Defense, but they seem to get overlooked because they didn't suck on Offense. Let's be honest, if they did suck on offense and averaged, let's say.......6ppg, but played the exact same Defense, they would get ALOT more Credit for their Defense.
    So players I could see ahead of Russell -- Jordan, Hakeem, and 2 players that also sucked on offense -- Rodman and B.Wallace. Those 4 and Russell are my Top 5 All Time on Defense.
    Again I say, Great Video!

      @MasterSpade 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rosendah -- My All Time Dream Team has a couple requirements. For perimeter players - Defense/Outside Shooting. If the player can't do both, he better be a Specialist at the other.
      I start with the GOAT = Jordan. On the perimeter add -- Bird, kobe, lebron, pippen, g.payton on the perimeter. The other spot is between stockton and curry. Stockton is good at both, while curry is a Master at 3pt shooting.
      The post players requirements - Defense/Rebounding. Again, if they aren't at least "good" at both, they better be a Specialist at the other -- kareem, hakeem, duncan, and k.malone. I'd only have 2 PF's. With the 2 GOAT's at PF, there would be no need for another. There's no need for 6 post players, instead I have an extra perimeter player. But that 5th spot is between wilt and shaq.
      As for starting line up.......I'd want Defense with at least one outside shooter......so............Jordan, Pippen, Bird, Duncan, and Hakeem. But with that much talent and players that would actually "fit" and play well together, it wouldn't make too much difference. The only 2 MUST haves as starters would be Jordan and Duncan.
      If I wanted more Defense - Payton, Jordan, Pippen, Duncan, Hakeem. Who would score on that lineup?? Their defense would score so many points! You could add Stockton (the all time league leader in steals) instead of Payton and with Jordan and Pippen, most teams wouldn't get past half court.

As for leadership, Duncan was great, but no one was a leader like Bill Russell. That one isn't even close. And I was super amazed and happy to see that you put Wilt down as most athletic. “By far”? Great video, but isn’t it established that Dennis Rodman was the greatest rebounder if you look at pace and rebounding opportunities. So it is at least not “by far” in my humble opinion.

      Damn straight. And that extends off the court, too. People give him a lot of crap about going to North Korea but I think that's one of the most courageous acts I've ever seen. I want to ask all the complainers, what did YOU do for world peace? And it just extends from the character that he showed on the court. He just has an outside perspective on everything and the courage to live that perspective to the hilt, no matter what he's doing. Dennis isn't my favorite basketball player but he's definitely my favorite person who is known best for playing basketball.

    Great video, I enjoyed it completely. The only category I didn't agree with, is "Best Leader." Though subjective, most NBA analysts or players will tell you it's hands down Bill Russell. He led his team to 12 championships and in one of those championships he was also the COACH of the team. No NBA player has led their team to a championship while also serving as the team's coach. For that, I think Bill Russell surpasses Tim Duncan in that category. Funny enough, you had Russell with Duncan in the clip as you were narrating.

      These categories. So that’s what makes him the goat in my opinion, I’ve watched Jordan play and yes he was the most feared and overwhelming player for the other team but I say LeBron because he’s added a lot to what Jordan has done and the league was half as good I terms of talent, obviously that has a lot to do with Jordan popularizing the game but think of the steep competion LeBron has to face in his career
