Hi Everyone, We hope you enjoyed our video! What did you think about these awesome travel trailers from AUSTRALIA? Do you prefer a travel trailer, motorhome or 5th wheel? Please say hello by leaving a comment below and sharing your opinion about these RV floor plans.
I like both of these. I'm not a fan of wet baths, but these aren't bad. And I agree with putting the two burners back to front instead of side to side. It allows for a bit more counter space. And the outside cooler sharing space with the propane tanks is an awesome idea. You don't lose any storage area inside the camper by doing this.
Hi Mike and Susan! I like both of them! I like the second one more because it has more space for clothes and all. The other one didn’t. But I still liked it. It had a lot of sauce to walk around in it. For as small as it was. Both had nice size wet baths. Not bad. Glad they got brought to America. I would camp in those. Hope you have a great week and have a great Happy Thanksgiving. Don’t eat too much turkey! 🦃 lol! Enjoy time with your family.
Hi Sherri! I agree with you. I liked the second one a little more because it was bigger but they were both pretty cool. We are home in MD and getting all ready for Turkey Day! I bought two turkeys this year to make sure I have some leftovers! lol! Hope you have a great thanksgiving too! Mike and Susan
Hi Mike and Susan! Great minds think a like! Great idea to get 2 turkeys for left overs. We are doing chicken and dumplings this year. With potatoes and stuffing. And green beans and all that good stuff. It’s just three of us everyone else is all scattered around the states. I miss my mom who always cooked really good turkeys and chicken and all that. My sister dues a great job too! Just like my mom! Can’t wait for turkey day! We are still have a bird just a different kind! lol! Have a great holiday if I don’t see you Sunday.
@@sherriweber7105 Hi Sherri! You are making me hungry! I love chicken and dumplings - but I have to get it from Cracker Barrel because we don't know how to make it! Have a great Thanksgiving! Mike
You are funny! My system and I didn’t know how to make chicken and dumplings either until my mom showed us before she past away. But that does sound good too from Cracker Barrel I love them from there too! Lol! Yummy!
These are both well built, quality trailers (hint, hint U.S. manufacturers). Both floorplans are efficient. My preference was the first trailer. I like a rear entry trailer as I am disabled and I believe a ramp could more easily be adapted to enter the unit. I also love the long kitchen counter space! Nice units but pricey. Then again they we ill likely hold up much better than many U.S. made trailers. Thanks for another great and detailed review video!
Hi Rosemary! Nice to hear from you! So glad we could showcase some manufacturers outside the US. A little competition never hurt anyone.🤣 You bring up a great point about a ramp on the end of the unit. Love that tip! Thank you for your support! 💚💛
Really liked the counter space in the Chameleon. Amazing how much storage space was in both! I thought the designs were very nice! I think the US RV designers should get together with the Aussie RV designers and learn from them!
That's awesome! So glad we could showcase some manufacturers outside the US. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Both of those trailers are nearly double the price of either my 32 foot brand new 2024 Wildwind Basecamp, or my little 10 1/2 foot off-road camper trailer. The only thing that I have any concerns about with either one of my RV company built trailers is the build quality of the particleboard cabinets and the longevity of the luan inner wall covering. But I can do a lot of upgrades and repairs for 30 grand.
I've not heard of a Wildwind Basecamp. Who is the manufacturer? It's great that you can upgrade your RV to fit your needs. Best of luck and safe travels. Thank you for your support!
Two things to keep in mind...1. No one pays MSRP (I hope) and 2. These just might be built better that your typical TT made in the US. They certainly have some pretty great features that are standard (not options) on these TT. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Not really, that's what I just paid for a Mission Overland approach and the Liberty has better storage, a sink in the bath and a dry seat but I could add that shower curtain
Terrific! Love the floor plans with twin bed options, quality builds, decent storage. Wondering about solar power/ batteries? Price is eye popping 😬 Thanks for the reviews!
You can check out their website here dreamhavenrv.com/ We always show MSRP in our videos but you should NEVER pay MSRP. It's a buyers market right now so you can expect to negotiate 35 to 40% off of the MSRP. Thanks for watching! Mike
True! So glad we could showcase some manufacturers outside the US. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
We will keep an eye out for it! We see Airstreams all the time so it shouldn't be hard to find. Especially since the dealer lots are FULL! Thanks for the suggestion! Mike
We always show MSRP in our videos but you should NEVER pay MSRP. It's a buyers market right now so you can expect to negotiate 35 to 40% off of the MSRP.
Expensive but nicely built. The table mount on the larger trailer needs to be somewhere else so they don't need that board across middle aisle. Other than that, I like that layout a bit better.
Not saying it's a great price, but they ARE being imported from Australia (love to know the shipping cost!), and the differences in construction from standard American travel trailers is going to cost you!
That area between the dining and bed area where you had to step over and then in-between the two beds seems like a huge tripping hazard for someone like me. Wondering if it is removable. Great video
Which rv dealership was going to be selling the gladiator force. The dealership in Fl did not know anything about the GF or Cameleon. The SH website will not let me search around the country for other dealers. The phone message just says to look at website. Hmmm...very frustrating. I was so happy to see your video. Any info you can pass along would be appreciated.
I reached out to Gerzeny's RV World in Florida. They have four locations that have Dreamhaven on order. Unfortunately not here yet but he will call me once they have received them. Let's hope that is soon. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Though Dreamhaven travel trailers are made in Australia they do meet US code. I don't think it would be a problem to get serviced. There aren't any slide outs to break so that's a plus! Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
It is pre-wired and comes with solar panels but not sure of the amp hours. Might have to check with the manufacturer. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Here is a link to their website so you can learn about their insulated panels which they claim makes them a 4 season trailer... dreamhavenrv.com/composite/ Hope this helps you out. Mike
They have solar panels but they are small so there isn't a lot of room for solar. But even a small system will keep your fridge running. Most RVs have very limited solar so we really don't cover it in much detail.
We don't like a wet bath either but in a small camper they do help maximize the usable space. Not keen on the table either... Thanks for watching! Mike
Good ones here. You forgot the best Ausie trailer, the MC XT12HH. Any of these trailers put anything built in USA to shame. Never, ever buy any trailer made in Indiana.
@@RVBlogger I think talldude meant the MDC XT12HR, they also have the XT16HR and a 19 model, but you won't find them at the RV shows because Indiana doesn't want them there imo. These look good, but I doubt that frame is hot dipped galvanized like the MDC's.
@@highfiving50 Oh gotcha. Thanks for explaining that. I am not up on the Australian models at all. But we actually saw these at the RV Dealers and Manufacturers Show in Elkhart. So they are looking for dealers to sell them and so far they have one dealer in FL. We will see how they go! Thanks for watching and for your comment! Mike
Ok fair point. Not sure I've ever heard that as a negative but I understand. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Unfortunately, I'm wider than 30 inches. Oops 😬 lots of storage room and outlets. Bit expensive for us, but built really well. Love the air circulation feature.
The MSRP may seem a bit high but hopefully no one pays MSRP. It is a buyer's market today so dealerships are wise to negotiate. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting. We appreciate your support!
Do they come with that cute stuffed kangaroo 🦘? I’m a little confused, what exactly is the difference between the two besides the entrance? My first thought is America is a bit more populated than Australia, I’d LOVE to see the screens/shades reversed. We want to discourage people from seeing in but enable us to see out.
Yes they come with a stuffed Kangaroo! lol! Great point on the screens and shades! But these are boondocking trailers so get out there and let it all hang out!
At the moment there aren't many handicap accessible RVs on the market. Winnebago offers two motorhomes in their lineup - the Inspire (Class A) and the Roam (Class B). Some manufacturers are starting to make entry doors a little wider and there are companies that offer chair lifts to be installed in an RV. But there isn't much on the market today. We have a website article that might too. rvblogger.com/blog/6-best-handicap-accessible-rvs/ Best of luck to you in your search.

American manufacturer should take a long hard look at these incredibly logical and well thought out floor plans.
Yes they should! We saw them at the Manufacturers and Dealers Show in Elkhart so I'm sure their competitors were there ready to steal their ideas.
Love the layout of the Gladiator Force 👍
It is pretty awesome!
