Hi buddy! Sorry for the very late response. I just noticed it going through some old comments. Thank you very much! Incredible wild trout in that Upper Delaware River system, hope you get a chance to fish it sometime. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
Great video. Only a fly fisher would hit a grouse then check it for hackle! Awesome. And now i know it was you who caught the 18 inch rainbow I've been looking for all summer. Super nice fish.
7:25 Why would you ever want to fish anywhere else? Gorgeous wild brown. I say the wild trout of the Delaware River system (particularly the rainbows), are the strongest fighting (rainbow/brown) trout in the country.
SirJohnny9999 Gotta agree with you there Sir Johnny! Trout on steroids, so strong! I haven’t found any stronger fish anywhere, even out West. Something you have to experience yourself if you’re a serious fly fisherman.
Nice looking spots, i usually kayak fish the east branch from downsville to Al's landing. Have caught some nice trout in that section, if you go a little upstream from Al's you can get into them but it can be crowded there due to the easy access.
Hi bud! I hit the lower East Branch the first day but it was coming down pretty high down In Hancock, so I stuck to the West Branch. Oh yeah, the East has some beautiful big boys also, I’ve done some older videos over there too. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hello PA, Nice fish and nice fights. By the way you seem to always question the length of them. Here's a tip that should help (because I have a similar net): With a Sharpie, make some marks every inch on the wooden frame, the 0 mark being at the round tip of the net. That way you only have to flatten the net with the fish in it and there you go Keep shooting
Hi Mike! Good suggestion, last year I started measuring the fish against my right arm, my measurement from my middle finger up to my elbow is 17.5-18” depending how stretched out I make it, so in my more recent videos I’ve been doing that. I just returned from the West Branch and I did a short video on the Main Stem, they should be out next week. Stay tune. Can’t get enough of those Delaware trout, just awesome fights! Thanks for watching and commenting.
The first town is Harvard where the road dead ends to the bridge, but I honestly can't remember the town where the small creek is at where I walked down , I think it's a little upstream of Pond Eddy, there's more house around where the stream crosses under the main road, I just parked off the main road where the little bridge is and walked down the stream to the river.
Was that little creek you walked down in a town just south of Harvard? Isthetown called centerville? And looking at the map I can't find where the road dead ends to the bridge? Curious bc I have never been out there but looking to explore! Thanks and love your videos!
jared bozich. Well, in Harvard, the road doesn't dead ends, it blocked because the bridge is closed. As far as the little creek, I really don't know the name of the town. It wasn't that far up from Rt.17, maybe 4-5 minutes upstream. I hope you find them both, they're both nice spots. Good luck! And Thank You!
Fair enough! Can you tell me upstream or downstream of the bridge? :) P.S. If you ever wanna meet for some winter fishing, I always enjoy company though it looks like you primarily fish solo. I am an Environmental Toxicologist that just moved from Wisconsin to New Jersey for my job so I have no fishing buddies, haha.
jared bozich Hi Jared! Honestly, send me your email address to scottmxdad@yahoo.com , you never know. The little creek going up river after getting off 17 is first, then the town of Harvard is about 5-7miles more up river, I think right near Oxbow Campground. Thanks
Thanks, I fish Hankin, NY gust north of bridge Long Eddy just around the. Bend will take a look on google map.Good luck fishing . Seven hours in the river is like seven seconds.
Michael Saglimbeni Thanks for watching and commenting. Honestly , in all my videos I stress getting that fish in as fast as possible and safely releasing. Tight Lines!
You’re one of the few people on TH-cam that’s not annoying
Vick Vinegar Hi Vick! Wow! Thank you, appreciate your comment, glad you enjoy the videos.
Some amazing fish caught Scott!! Good times for sure!! Enjoyed the short series!

Nice video, what is town at east branch, and what was that creek you walked down and wear.

Were you up as far as Shinhopple, which is at the steel bridge, and is several miles below Corbett?
Impressed with the size of some of those fish on the East Branch. Is that a Philly accent I detect?
Thank you! Yep, Philly suburbs. HA!
Thanks Bud! Great to hear someone who gets it. Honestly! I even slowed down to admire it , oopsie!!
oh yaa, the guru, I have a 4-love it
The lower end yes but go up higher you hit cold water again

dfzurichch Good luck! Have fun!
I always thought the E Branch got too hot after June to fish?
I have seen some God awful sized Brookies in East Branch.Fact
I believe you, caught a 16” brookie on the West Branch last year in one of my Winter videos.
Thanks, I fish Hankin, NY gust north of bridge Long Eddy just around the. Bend will take a look on google map.Good luck fishing . Seven hours in the river is like seven seconds.
You're right, goes way too fast! Need to retire, HA!!
you should really keep that fish wet and soak your hands before handling.
