I baked this cake on yesterday (1st time) and it was good. I give myself an 8 otta 10. I let it bake 15mins longer than instructed because everyone's oven doesn't bake the same. The icing was bomb...I will try it again but overall the taste testers says it was a 10....thanks for sharing your recipes Charlie

i think i will try this for valentines day, my red velvy always comes out crazy so hopefully it comes out good for me this time. question, so the flour did you sift and scoop before. adding or just measure straight our the bag? I hear that if you measure straight out the bag the flour compresses. i try to weigh mine with a scale.
Awesome, that is good to hear. Let me know how it turns out. I measured the flour first out of the bag, then I sift it into the bowl. I've never had any issues with flour compression. I've done the same method will all of my cake recipes and never ran into an issue with it. Good luck to you!

Awesome, that is good to hear. Let me know how it turns out. I measured the flour first out of the bag, then I sift it into the bowl. I've never had any issues with flour compression. I've done the same method will all of my cake recipes and never ran into an issue with it. Good luck to you!
