I really like how you lay out all the ingredients and the tools. I also like how you talk about mixer speeds, mixer times and not over cooking the custard. You're a very good teacher! You answered ALL my questions and then some! You obviously have some commercial baking experience. I've never heard of cake batter or butter extract or putting gelatin in your whipped cream. I feel like I've gotten some real inside industry secrets . Baking intel!!! YAY!

So after years of asking she shocked all of us me and my aunts that it was actually just the recipe on the box. LOL. She passed away in 2020 and we all laugh over that today.
I came across a recipe with sour scream and sweetened condensed milk. I made it for a family get together and my hubby was not happy bc there wasnt any left. I wish I could find the recipe again. I dont even really like banana pudding but this I liked.

CHARLIE!! I made this cake for my husband’s birthday this week (was going to try to do the bananas foster cake but I’m scared of the flambé part 😂) and it came out so good! The sponges were easily the best cakes I’ve ever had. Definitely adding this recipe to the rotation because WOW the taste, the texture, everything about it was just perfection. Thank you!!! I didn't know how to use those bags either until I started making my own soap. I seen a soapmaker on TH-cam decorating her soap with them so I bought a set of tips, couplers and the disposable bags. Now I'm getting another set of tips, couplers and disposable bags to use when I try making this cake.

Your cake photo caught my eye. Wow!. Banana pudding is one of my favorites. This recipe takes it to an even more sinful delicious level with cake. 🎂 I prefer whipped cream on my banana pudding. Your custard topping really goes well with the cake . My mom made her pudding with meringue topping.

I didn't know how to use those bags either until I started making my own soap. I seen a soapmaker on TH-cam decorating her soap with them so I bought a set of tips, couplers and the disposable bags. Now I'm getting another set of tips, couplers and disposable bags to use when I try making this cake.
