That's amazing you brought a Jackson guitar Trev! I've always wanted one too, though the one I want is the Rhoads Flying V! (Of course haha!) It's a nice guitar too, hope you get on well with it. The only way to improve is to play and practice, just get going and see how you go! In a few weeks time you'll be shredding like Steve Vai I'm sure! 😁😁🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@ScreaminT81 Ahh yeah, that's fair enough man. If Floyd guitars are not your thing I understand that. Yeah you're right, I want one with a Floyd. My Ibanez has been having some tuning issues recently, I'm weighing up my options
@@ScreaminT81 Yeah, it's been going out of tune every time I play it ever since I put new strings on it back in Feb. I went to my local music shop and they had a look at it, it's improved since then but it still goes out of tune. It's annoying, but I'll see how it goes. I might look to get a new guitar
YES! So happy for ya. 1 I have lots of mineral oil for your fretboard. 2. We will block that trem (you'll never use it). Don't get ahead of yourself about replacing the nut (let's see how well its cut and intonated). We shall chat soon buddy.
Congrats! That's a lovely guitar. I like them for the neck stability. I do like your run down of the specs too. 🤘 Funny/sad that Fender would "never" apply those support graphite rods in the neck of their guitars, same for the fretboard radiuses (radii?). :(
@@ScreaminT81 Thanks for replying! I am new to Jacksons, it's only been a few days LOL. I got it as a successor to an Ibanez S521, and I am so happy with mine. The JS32Q as the hard tail, which I prefer. My own fault for being hung up on the headstock! Should have got the Jackson way back when, and not that used Ibanez. I still like the Ibanez, it was so abused when it arrived, and I had GFS Redactives put into it by a tech, and it had been my goto. It's kinda like taking in a stray cat that needed help! But the neck has been all over the place. It's not a temperature thing either. The Jackson sorts all the issues and I actually really like the pups too. 🤘
@@strumminronin no problem at all! Just changed the strings last week actually to 11-52’s and tuned to C standard. The neck has not moved at all. It plays like butter, and for the lowest model in lefty options, it’s stellar and the pups are great. Ibanez has great guitars, sometimes they can be a bit of a nightmare. I’m jealous with that 32Q you have.
@@ScreaminT81 Awww, please don't be jealous over some wood and six strings! I bet you have some stunning basses and serious chops! And I am too much of a wuss to video myself AND upload them!😅 To be successful takes guts and I think you have plenty of those in Adamantium! 🤘
Sweet purchase.. have tons of fun
Let the chugs begin 🤘🎸
Definitely!!!
Now that's a sexy beast of an musical instrument.
She sure is
That black gloss is GOYJISS. Beautiful guitar, Trev. Can't wait to see you shred on it. Happy for ya!!
Thanks buddy!!!
SWEET!!!!! I love it…
Thanks boys! Can’t wait to pick it up when I get back home hahah
Very cool,Trev. You look like a happy dude. Look forward to see you playing some chunky riffs on a future vid. 🤘🍻
That’s my plan dude 😁
Nice axe, dude! All the best with learning to play it. I look forward to seeing you chugging away on your channel soon enough!
Cheers! 🤘
Thank you Simon!!
We demand a video of you SHREDDING 🤘🤘
Hahaha in due time my good

Cool guitarTrevor.

Nice. Riff hard man🤘
Thanks buddy! Hope you’re doing well and you get a Phone call or two regarding new stuff.

I considered the Rhoads but the only model they have for us lefties is the Floyd model, which is probably a great choice for you

@JoshKeech oh really?! That’s not good at all

@JoshKeech ugh that’s not good at all. Are they thicker strings or the same?!

Yessir! I do have lemon oil for it here too and polish for the body etc 😁😁
Thanks man 💜

It is, and more so funny cause Jackson is in the same building if memory serves me correct?! 🤔
I could be absolutely wrong though.

@@strumminronin I appreciate that but I don’t have my basses anymore. Just my Jackson and lefty 12 string acoustic.
