Looking forward to using this one for pigs too, my horse trailer was so dark they didn’t like going in it

Enjoyed the video Jared. That is a very nice cattle rack. My Father in law had one and we used it for moving furniture and other things. You could pack boxes and furniture up high with very minimal tieing down. Y'all take care and God bless.

I like it! Especially how you can take 1 trailer and use it for all your needs. I have a two horse trailer and I like your approach better than mine here. That trailer just sits and rots here, where your strategy keeps it working year round. Bravo! You look like your starting to feel better! Glad your on the mend!

Nice! We got ours from O’Quinn’s in Coeburn, VA. We haul cattle and hogs. It works like a charm! Close the cut gate and keep the livestock up front when traveling. If the animals get in the back, it’ll get a little light on the hitch. Found that out the hard way on the way to the slaughter house!

Trying to save a dollar is what its all about in this day and time. The trailer rack looks and sounds like a good idea to do just that.
Have a Great Week Jared and God Bless 🙂.

I like the idea. To fix the spacing issue, I was thinking you could weld on a hook type fasteners to the 2 sides and front that hooked over the rail of the trailer. Then just use a tractor with forks to lift it off and on to the trailer. Just a thought.

Howdy Jared- that’s a nice find on the cattle racks. I remember people with the wood racks on their pickups. Haven’t seen one those in many years. Take care and God bless y’all

My grandpa said that’s how they always hauled cows and mules. I seen an old wood set for sale other day but I think they were past there prime!

Still have my grandads Ford F100 and the wooden cattle racks!....but not enough nerve to try to haul livestock like that!

Good morning Jared, check the floor for soft spots. They rot real easy setting in the sun. Keep it working and it will be a handy addition around there. Stay safe and have fun. Fred.

I'd say you made a wise decision. I'm also thinking a cattle rack might make a nice frame for a small "shed". ??? God bless.

Looks like you got a good deal. Using some 4X4 blocks screwed right into the floor boards would be the easiest spacers to come up with. Pretty cheap too.

I don't know how sturdy it would be... but cost wise you can always use a painters drop cloth canvas n make your own grommet holes
