For anyone that's asking, this is how I understand it - row five repeat is a cluster in every gap, row six repeat is a cluster in each gap, row seven, miss the middle gap. I hope this helps ❤
@flamboyantfreak I’m confused on how to start each round since I’m not changing colors. When I start the next round and do the dc in the same chain space it looks wonky any suggestions.?

If I wasn't changing colour, I would start each round with only three dc and finish the corner with another three at the end, and instead of chaining two and joining, I half double to join which puts you right in the center of that corner cluster to start the next row ❤️ I hope that makes sense ❤️

I can’t even tell you how much these colors in this pattern stimulate my brain in a good way. I’m making a Bluey color scheme blanket and I was going to do a chevron but I really love this pattern and I think I’m going to have to do this one instead. It’s GORGEOUS!

I have only just discovered TH-cam crochet channels. I've been making granny stitch square rugs since I was a child. My friend is due for the next rug and I asked him what he would like. Being cheeky, he said "A round one!" And then I found this wonderful pattern!! Thanks so much - he'll get a pleasant shock!
