    Your skills are a bit beyond me, but, you’re a teacher ,par Exelon, I’m really impressed with your deliberate bit by bit ,byte by bite methodology and demonstrations and explanations. Kudos

    Johnny, in a difficult time around the world ... its a privilege to see, feel and participate in the positive learning, training, and interaction you bring. Thank you for the effort and all that you give to the world with your talent, skill, and personality!!

    How great that is....
    Being a classical I recently turned to Jazz and play in a quintet. So far I tried to represent the whole rhythm section. But this is definitely going to stop me interfering with the bass and soloists and make the whole a lot more transparent and lighter. Less is more and after all without the silence one doesn't hear the music....
    Thank you so much

    Woo hoo! I know all the 7th chords inside and out but had no idea how to wire them together, and this is the song I've been trying to make sound good. And here you are! Perfect! Thank you!

      Excellent video content! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried - Rozardner Possess Violin Reality (do a search on google)? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for understanding how to master the piano minus the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my GF after a lifetime of fighting got astronomical success with it.

  • @ettorehelton4022
    @ettorehelton4022 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Jonny! looking at walking bass..I think you are playing not like it is written on the staff (pentagramma)...the eighth notes are in the last movement of the measure...sorry for my english...you wrote them on the third movement of the measure ....am I wrong?

    • @petersheldon7877
      @petersheldon7877 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ettore Helton if you change the playback speed in settings you can see exactly what Jonny plays. And yes, occasionally he throws in a few extra kicks when he sings which add to the swing feel. Really good demo!
