I didn’t know you couldn’t get the rotom key without cheating which makes me sad cause i wanted to use him as my electric type for the game … dissapointment is immeasurable . I also picked turtwig cause torterra is jus the goat so guess i’ll have to spice up your choices nd see what i can make work. I’m thinking about using houndoom with nasty plot , dark pulse , flamethrower , and a filler move to take on lucian solo as a sweeper . torterra woth rock polish , EQ, wood hammer , synthesis/leach seed , was going to be wash rotom but i guess magnezone or jolteon will work . i personally love gliscor so might sub him for staraptor , toxic blissey, and i’m undecided only the last pick . I personally love glaceon it’s my favorite eeveelution although not the best I just love it and might try to make it work lol . thanks again for some insight and another funny video!! keep grinding mah boy!!

Dynamicpunch allows you to cheese anything you can live a hit against while doing huge damage, and stone edge destroys Aaron and Flint. Bertha's rock Pokemon get chunked by it as well. My team: Machamp: just ditch your starter for this guy Vaporeon: BEST water, hands down Weavile: level up just a bit and get that sweet OHKO on Garchomp and Alakazam Hippowdon: actually great pick. Good job. Starpator: early game help against Gardenia Electivire: late game, but honestly the best Pokemon against Togekiss and Milotic which are very annoying.

I do think there's a bit of a disconnect between you and me (and possibly some of your other viewers) because the strategies of underleveled Pokémon really lean toward stall/defense vs. offense, the latter being much more effective if you're not avoiding trainers outright. I've been thinking about starting a series where I talk about each Pokémon in a regional dex and discuss their main-game viability, but I only know what I know so your videos have opened my eyes a bit. I think MAMOSWINE is better than HIPPODOWN since faster, still bulky, strong hitter with ice stab for GLISCOR and GARCHOMP, make sure u get ICE SHARD before you evolve from SWINUB and get Ice Fang or you can get a FOCUS SASH from the Route south of Sandgem after showing the guy 3 pokemon of the level he asks for and use AVALANCHE and one shot Garchomp from 1 HP always works for me and I squeaked by once with low 40-42 and 44 for Mamo
@@KingDambit I try to avoid healing as much as possible but Cynthia is a whole nother beast haha. I do take pride in not using x items or revives though! As someone who only has Diamond/Pearl, with a thinner Pokédex and swapping Cynthia’s Togekiss with Gastrodon, what would you recommend swapping for Bissey and Jolteon? I was thinking Bronzong and Rotom,opting out of Magnezone as to not interfere with double steel types and Bronzong because it is the bulkiest Special Defense Pokémon I could think of. Any thoughts? That Gastrodon looks tough without any grass moves
I don't like making recommendations for teams that I have not tested myself because everything I say is strictly theoretical and there may be something I failed to account for. Having said that, were I to try teambuilding for Diamond and Pearl, I would definitely consider using Bronzong for taking down Lucian, and his levitate ability will be useful for sticky situations. As for Rotom, if you can use one of his secondary forms, why not? However, I would prioritize testing Roserade for taking out Gastrodon (emphasis on testing because I can't say for sure which mon is better)
My thinking would be to go with a more special oriented Infernape with Grass Knot for Gastrodon/Quagsire of Cynthia/Crasher Wake. That way I still have Rotom to mess up Cyrus as my electric type.
Since I have Pearl, I’ve tried to adjust the team. After finding out Rotom, Magnimite, and Jolteon are all available post game, I decided to skip Raichu, Pachirisu, and Luxray in favor of Thunderbolt/Charge Beam on Magic Guard Modest Clefable alongside a specially defensive Bronzong. Having Psychic, Ice Beam and an electric move gives better coverage while still being bulky. Cleffa Has Magical Leaf for Crasher Wake, while I think the Shock Wave TM is accessible before that gym too

It depends on the person you're battling! But against the Elite 4 and Cynthia, I used Frost Rotom (the refrigerator) in one of the teams I tested

GYARADOS AND VLISSEY ARE ALWAYS OVERUSED IN NUZLOCKES...BUT YEAH...THEY ARE REALLY GOOD

It also has the ability Snow Cloak which causes the opposing Pokémon's moves to miss during a hailstorm.
