@@AndySaenzfunny thing is , that's actually a joke from Dolly. She used the royalties from Whitney's version to build office complexes in a black neighborhood in Nashville and to build up the area . She felt is was the best way to honour Whitney and when asked why she built it she says " I didn't build this , Whitney did " Dolly truly is an icon , not just for her talent , but her kindness and positive spirit

That’s why she was able to use her royalties from it to reinvest in the Nashville black community. We don’t deserve Dolly Parton! ❤

I'm trying to understand your point, though. I'm saying that the songwriter (Dolly Parton) and the PRIMARY producer (David Foster) of "I Will Always Love You" presented Whitney with the Grammy, which made it obvious that she was winning the Grammy. Yes but the Grammys have done this many times before and the person we all expected to win didn’t. The first one that comes to mind is a Michael Jackson category and they sent out Diana Ross as a presenter but he lost. Would’ve been a great moment if he had one.
