@@hyperblaziken6572 what makes you say that? the toys really don't show any signs of being possessed that can't be explained away with the whole facial recognition thing
@@PeboPz not only there is the obvious aspect of we LITERALLY SEE 5 dead kids in the fnaf 2 minigames. (which undeniably happens after the first MCI) There is also the fact that it is stated that they've suddently become strangely agressive towards adults while acting normal towards children Also there's no way the bite of 87 could've happened if they weren't haunted
@@hyperblaziken6572 Well I believe that the facial recognition messed up and it was programmed to scan adults so that's why they act aggressive towards adults but overall, it may be more accurate to say at least most aren't possessed. Also, the MCI kids are those 5 dead kids in the minigame who may or may not be possessing the withered animatronics.
The bite of 87 was Foxy, right? Foxy bit an employee, and they had to remove his frontal lobe because of the damage. As phone guy says in night one of the first game: "It's amazing hoe the human body can live without the frontal lobe." I think the bite of 83 was Fredbear. As we see in the FNAF 4 minigames, this kid's older brothers were messing with him, and accidentally got his head crushed in his gnawing mouth. Am I right about these?
As a hardcore fan, this was a rollercoaster of emotion Also getting scooped means getting your organs getting scooped out by a machine that takes remnant aka souls
No remnants aren't souls They're the stuff soldier made out of because you're so can be split up it happened to the missing children in the books when William used their remnant to make s*** and it's probably How burn trap and glitch trap CO exist William Has been cut down the middle
i’m pretty sure from the Insanity ending in fnaf 6, the files say that the scooper INJECTS remnant, doesn’t take it away. that’s how micheal was able to survive being scooped, he injected with that soul juice 🤌 however, i could be wrong
Technically pink man because he was more fat and plump like William was described The purple guy would be Dave Miller because thereby thin and Dress like night guards Dave Miller is The identity William Uses so the angry parents won't crucify him and he won't have to pay his taxes It's from the books but I think it's cannon because it makes sense I mean sure he was never convicted but they kind of knew he did it And they live in a small town and people don't take Is kindly to people who hurt kids
9:38 you were actually correct on this one. The quiz is probably dated and it is now accepted that sister location takes place before the original 3 games
I mean a lot of things take place before 3 it's literally in our future still And I think it takes place around the 1st game cause Michael is still Probably a young adult But I'm pretty sure Is the 2nd game takes place Before because Michael simply wasn't old enough to resemble William William would logically be in his thirties because then he would In his forties in the nineties And that says older we wanted because if he was any older he would probably be a bit too weak to rip apart robots Also I don't think hes ever described with Gray hair in the graphic novel and I don't see why his physical appearance would be different despite them taking place in a different time line I don't see a teenager looking a lot like a 30 year old but seeing a 20 year old a decade later you could probably mistaken for his 30 year old father if you were slightly Insane and locked up for years
5:17 Yeah this question is stupid. We don't KNOW who was responsible for the bite of 87. And it really doesn't matter, it's mere flavor text nothing else 11:09 It ends with the scooping room where they scoop out your insides and you use you as a flesh suit to escape 11:24 Correct. Performance issues and glitches aside, the game just wasn't scary at all Molten Freddy is an alternative version of Ennard
@@the_humming_bird3210 No, people loved Pizzeria Sim, are you kidding? Security Breach was the one people didn't like not only because of it's terrible performance on every platform but also because it just wasn't scary. Pizzeria Sim still had plenty of horror elements in it
@@lunadelua4335 More than 2 in fact. You have the bite of 83 which is the one we see in FNAF 4, the bite of 87 which is only mentioned and we don't know much about and one that happened in Pizzeria Sim. According to one of the lawsuits you see in that game, the male child's head is bitten by the unidentified animatronic and suffered severe injuries, but his frontal lobe remained connected to his brain. Despite this, the doctors are unsure how long the frontal lobe will remain that way.
*"The scooper. It sounds like something you would use for ice cream or custard or sprinkles.”* *“It sounds like something you would want at your birthday party to ensure that you get a heaping portion of every good thing. I wonder, though, if you were a freshly opened pint of ice cream, how you would feel about something with that name."*
As someone who's been into this series from the very beginning, it's kind of interesting to see the quiz's possible answers as a sort of retrospective to see just how much things had changed, from a lore/theorist perspective. I recognized some of those answers as old theories that the fandom had generally agreed on at the time. I remember the debate between whether or not the Toy animatronics were possessed or not (back then, it was unclear if all of the bodies seen in the minigames were the same or different), and the absolute nightmare of "who did the Bite of 87?" debacle. Seriously, it felt like everyone had their own take on who could've done it
The theory (or at least the version I heard) about Mangle being the culprit of the bite is due to the fact that Mangle's jumpscare comes from the ceiling (perfect position to bite you in the frontal lobe) and the security guard you play as changes in the last night (from Jeremy to Fritz). Because FNaF 2 takes place before FNaF 1, the theory is that Jeremy was the staff member who got bit and Mangle was the one who bit him. Edit: This quiz also uses the theory that we play as the Crying Child in FNaF 4, which was almost entirely debunked a while back but _apparently_ we're going back to that theory now that the character encyclopedia (which is very inconsistent with a lot of other things) says so. Most of the fandom is salty about this because it was practically confirmed by the security logbook that we play as Michael Afton. Edit 2: It is also entirely wrong about Sister Location taking place in the future. It _must_ take place before _at least_ Pizza Sim (and most likely before FNaF 2), and we're currently a bunch of years _after_ Pizza Sim in the timeline.
It actually needs to take place before fnaf 2 for Michael/Mike/Fritz to be a stinky corpse man going around trying to fix his dad's mistakes, yes this uncomfortably squeezes the timeline but it's the best way to connect Mike to the pink slips and the fnaf three hallucinations also according to Special Delivery the funtime animatronics were some of the first animatronics ever created.
@@SpiritOfSpite I know, and I don't doubt that it has to take place before FNaF 2. But there are a lot of other theories as well, and even in the most _ridiculous_ theories I've ever heard (namely one that goes 'we see springtrap in sl so it must be after fnaf 3'), it _has to_ take place before Pizza Sim. I just wanted to make it clear that it is completely impossible for Sister Location to be in the future.
As someone pretty well versed in the FNAF lore, Good luck, you'll need it. Edit: It is infact the Illusion Disc, you just spelled disc the wrong way :L
Usually when people talk about various types of disks, the spelling changes, so they're technically right, even if some people use the two spellings interchangeably and it doesn't matter to them lol. I personally use Discs to refer to CD's and the like, while everything else I primarily use Disk for.
1. I think the name ones had two options for first name and then last name, not two people 2. “This whole thing is about killing kids?!” “William afton is messed up” he’s learning lol 3. “Scooping room? Don’t scoop me I’m not ice cream” basically a direct quote from the game
The worst part about this is, even removing the questions based around theories, like who did the Bite of 87, some of the answers are still wrong. Sister Location doesn't take place in the future, for instance. It takes place in the past.
As a fnaf fan, this was hilarious!! Most of us fnaf theorists are pulling out hair trying to figure out this monstrosity of a series, yet this dude got half it right from gut feeling and guessing… I can’t do this anymore 🤣
One thing about this quiz is that it doesn’t always specify which game it’s asking about. Especially when they ask “what happened during ‘the’ game” as if there’s only one game.
My lord, these early game questions are highly questionable. Animatronics that aren’t haunted? Talking about the Bite of 87 like it’s relevant? No goes.
18:00 they are called Illusion Soundisks? Sound disks? I don’t exactly know how the quiz expected you to input the answer, but you got the illusion part right.
The FNaF 2 animatronics are actually haunted. The toy animatronics are possessed by the spirits of the second MCI while the withered animatronics are haunted by the spirits of the first MCI.
@@eclipsedarksouls6036 They don't. There is the first in 1985 which possess the withered animatronics and causes the second restaurant to close. Then there is the second in 1987 which possess the toy animatronics and lead to the bite of '87 and subsequent closing of the third. This can be seen in the "give gifts give life" minigame and the "save them" minigame.
@@N.T_Destroyer which are only in fnaf 2. Which doesn't answer my question of why does every other game then fnaf 2 (and 1 because it came first) act like only the first one happened. Following FNAF 3 i remember there being a TON of confusion on how many people william killed. With all future games seeming to have settled on there being the 5 from the first MCI. Who posses the original 4 and golden freddy who became the withers. Cassidie, Henry's daughter who becomes the puppet. Then Elizabeth indirectly through baby.
@@N.T_Destroyer also the animatronics in the give gifts give life minigame are clearly the originals/withered. (Foxy instead of mangle. Bonnie is a dark blue instead of the light blue of toy bonnie. The split second of the 5th kid turning into the golden Freddy jumpscare)
4:54 misconception, that is the bite of 83 that those 4 kids do that in fnaf 4 Bite of 87 is from fnaf 2 were the security guard gets bitten by mangle or balloon boy Also you play as Michael afton in all the games other than fnaf 4 were you play as the kid (the youngest child/ Michael brother)that gets bitten andis in a coma so he’s having nightmares
Don’t worry matthew, as an active fnaf fan, I have a stroke every time I hear about the lore. You can’t say something is wrong when it’s all JUST A THEORY
watching Mathew type in 2 different people's names when there are 2 boxes (one for first name and one for last name) every single time is so on brand 💀💀
i think the question at 15:15 is cool because the original 4 are based off of a story of a robbery of a restaurant, and the only person who survived is who chica is based off of. its also the reason that the kitchen has no cameras because that was where she was. so she was the first (and the only) to get out alive, and the one that has seen everything.
If I know anything about FNAF lore, it's that it would be impossible to put a lore quiz together because no one actually knows any of the lore of these games. Like to the point where every time a lore book is released, the fanbase immediately says it's terrible and mostly wrong.
(13:22) fun fact: in question 30 one of the answers (Jack Kennedy) is actually the name of the person u play as in the FNaF fangame Dayshift At Freddy’s!
About the whole Security Breach thing; the fandom is very split due to it's place both in lore and how broken the game itself was when it first came out (I think this was due to crunch time and rushing). Personally I love FNAF:SB because of the concepts and characters, but I know for many they see it as Steel Wool cash grabbing a franchise(Along with Help Wanted, and the AR stuff) that had a satisfying ending. And I will admit Pizza Sim and UCN are a pretty good ending point If, for some unknown reason, you felt compelled to get into Fnaf Lore I'd suggest either Rye Toast's Ultimate Pre Help Wanted Timeline videos, or Game Theories Ultimate Timeline videos. Personally I prefer to recommend Rye Toast's stuff as(no hate to MatPat) he's more obvious about pointing the flaws even in his own timeline and talking about retcons while MatPat is really going for the entertainment aspect of the video and will bend evidence here and there to ham it up, so to speak(Not to say that Matpat doesn't talk about the retconning, he made a whole video on The Locked Box after all). Of course I will say I do have a bias talking as I am against the Robot CC Gregory, Michael Freddy Possession, and CEO Miss Afton theories that he floats as I find them kinda boring. Doubly of course I think SB's Afton Ending should be seen as one of the fake out endings, though based on everything that is not the case sadly even though I think it's the most boring way to do the story and the MalHare stuff on it's own should've been explored without the need of the grandpa corpse. Realy they're both really good and entertaining with their own ups and downs, but as I said I feel Toast's video is more open about the shaky lore, though once again that could be bias talking. Once again though this all presuming you want to do a lore deep dive instead of say taking more lore quizzes on other things you've reacted to just to see how crazy the lore in those shows/games/etc play(The answer is always: more insane than you think) No matter what though I enjoyed the change up! Keep making the videos that you prefer to make and remember: Phantom Foxy's hook hand has gone astray
"Who's William Afton?" "Does one of the Aftons make the animatronics?" Sir please, my heart cannot take much more of this- (Though tbf the oblivion and outsider perspective IS one of my favorite parts of your videos)
Fnaf lore goes deep. I do recommend not starting with the ultimate timeline, but Everything you need to know about Fnaf. Also, Candy Cadets stories. :)
The multiple text box questions were meant to have you put the first name in one box and the surname/last name in the second. 11:25 It was released in a broken, incomplete, buggy state, and the patches barely helped. A good chunk of stuff from the trailers was also completely lost. 18:07 Unfortunately, yes. Also, the quiz should have given that one to you, I have no idea why it was considered incorrect.
10:00 - 10:06 Yes, William Afton is the co-owner or owner of fazbear entertainment and afton robotics, his partner, Henry Emily, is also the co-owner or owner of fazbear entertainment. But isn’t apart of Afton Robotics 11:08 - 11:11 In the end of sister location the player, Micheal Afton, aka Eggs Benedict, ends up getting scooped (I don’t feel like typing everything rn 💀)
I can't get over the fact that he could've gotten some of them right if he'd just separated the words into the two blanks 😭 On a more serious note though, you did surprisingly well. To sum up FNAF: Henry Emily and William Afton are robotic engineers who partner up to work for a restaurant and make lifelike animatronics. Henry has a daughter named Charlotte and William has an unnamed wife, an eldest son named Michael, the middle child that's known as the Crying Child, we call him C.C. for short (although fans speculate his name could be Chris or Evan), and his youngest daughter Elizabeth. William becomes a serial killer who murders children. No one knows for sure why, but he does. All three of his children also show signs of being abused in some way. Michael is angry, aggressive, and relentlessly bullies his brother, C.C., who, despite probably being 8-10 in age, has trouble speaking what he feels and cries in intense fear and anxiety all the time. Elizabeth is spoiled and bratty, but in an unhealthy way that is attention seeking and implies she feels ignored and neglected. Elizabeth goes missing, killed by one of William's animatronics, which was specifically made to lure and kill kids. In the books it's said that she knows this and does this on purpose to finally impress her father, so take what you want from that. Michael accidentally kills his younger brother at his birthday party due to a prank which becomes known as the Bite of '83. William faces the consequences of his actions when the souls of the children he's killed trap him and force him to hide in an animatronic suit he made, specifically to kill children in. He dies in it because of the faulty mechanisms clamping down on him. Michael, with no family left, was told by William before he died that the mystery surrounding his sister could be solved at a sister location that houses the animatronic who killed her. Michael takes a job there after his dad died and finds out the hard way that his dad killed his sister and a bunch of other kids, so, after getting killed by his sister and the rest of the souls haunting the animatronics in the location, manages to live through Remnant (the thing giving all the souls the power to live on, most prominent and strong in children souls) and gets jobs at all the other locations. He does this in order to fix what his dad has done. When he finishes, he's employed by Henry Emily, whose daughter was killed by William as well, at one final location, where Michael gathers the remaining few animatronics before burning the place to the ground, with him and everyone else trapped inside, including his father and sister. The souls are meant to be set free. There are two souls in Golden Freddy yes. One of them is C.C., who was killed by being shoved headfirst into the Golden Freddy suit by Michael. The faulty mechanisms that killed William in the Springtrap suit set off because of moisture, and C.C. was, as expected, crying. The second soul was William's sixth victim in his second time murdering children, and his seventh victim total, Charlotte being the first. Her name is Cassidy. She isn't content to let William die and move on to whatever afterlife, and she keeps his soul captive and tortures him with his own animatronics in Ultimate Custom Night. FNAF VR and SB are their own crazy plots, so I'll just breeze past it for now. 😅
That one question about the illusion disc, you got that right. You just didn't spell "disc" the way the creator wanted you to spell it. They wanted you to spell it "Disk"
I highly Suggest you watch game theory’s Fnaf vids. They’re aren’t the unanimous accepted theories but they do go in-depth enough to know the story and theories without playing all games
This si so freaking hilarious- as somebody who has a crippling addicton to fnaf, i just- u loved this. Especially his first reaction to the puppet- it never gets old.
Since the quiz is faulty here's the right answers 1. Freddy (Fazbear), Bonnie, Chica, Foxy 2. True, by the 5 victims of the MCI (missing children incident) 3. False, there's been at least 4 before 4. Mike Schmidt 5. Night 4 6. Mangle 7. Withered animatronics are possessed and view you as a threat, toys haven't been confirmed but theories cover the first 3 options, most of fnaf 2 we don't play as Michael but rather as Jeremy Fitzgerald, besides Purple Guy is only banned from the pizzeria on later nights 8. Debatable but I believe yes as there's a series of murders in that location and after it the toy animatronics start acting differently when meeting adults 9. Debatable but there’s most evidence against Mangle (Foxy, Freddy and Toy Chica are suspects too) 10. Charlotte “Charlie” Emily 11. True, others are phantoms 12. A haunted house amusement park/museum thing 13. There's two sets of minigames, the post night minigames telling how William Afton became Springtrap and the secret minigames setting the souls to rest 14. Both option one and three out of these although we can debate on are these even hallucinations or rather something else 15. Michael Afton although it isn't 100% confirmed and in 2 we also play as Jeremy Fitzgerald 16. 1983 17. Debatable but according to recent books it's a hallucination experiment 18. Fredbear is the animatronic the plushie is of but the toy itself is usually called Psychic Friend Fredbear or Plushie Fredbear 19. Implied to be so but this too doesn't have a confirmed answer and can be debated 20. The Bite of ‘83 21. Past, the designs look more modern but for Michael to be the guard/player in other games Sister Location needs to be before fnaf 2 22. True, in an ending monologue he says “father (William Afton), it's me, Michael” 23. Afton Robotics, LLC, William Afton's own company with animatronics designed to kill kids although the quiz is lost in the timeline as there's evidence in games that CBPW existed before MCI 24. Circus Baby, “helps” since at the end she tricks the player and kills him 25. The player getting scooped, the scooper is designed to take out animatronic endoskeletons, if used on humans, it'll take their organs out 26. True, 3 was supposed to be the last as well as 4, Pizzeria Sim, UCN, Security Breach and Help Wanted 2 27. It glitches with a lot of dark Freddy sprites 28. A tomb, there's two stories of people trying to save children and one of a boy, a snake and kittens 29. Lure Encapsulate Fuse Transport and Extract 30. Henry Emily 31. 7 (bad, mediocrity, bankruptcy, insanity, blacklisted, completion and lorekeeper endings) 32. Ennard 33. The Mediocre Melodies (aka Nedd Bear, Mr. Hippo, Pigpatch, Orville Elephant, (Mystic Hippo), Happy Frog) 34. Scraptrap although this is a fanon name, in the files he's simply Afton 35. True 36. A hell/purgatory 37. Original/Withered Chica 38. Scraptrap 39. Golden Freddy wants revenge (understandable) 40. Toy Chica, the High School Years 41. Remnant although this actually also appears in games 42. Illusion disk 43. Charlie's body indeed but it isn’t most likely the same box 44. True, into a bot, only in the novel trilogy 45. True, only in novel trilogy, in games only Elizabeth is in Circus Baby while Charlie's in the Puppet 46. Fnaf 4 (1983), SL (for Michael to be in the other games he has to go to CBER first), Fnaf 2 (1987), Fnaf 1 (1993), Fnaf 3 (2023), FFPS (2023), HW (years after FFPS), SD (references events of HW), SB, HW2, Ruin This is way too long, my fingers are dying from typing this. Ask if you have questions
I very strongly recommend watching all parts of MatPat's full FNAF timeline that was released recently on his channel! It's still very much a working theory, to be used more as a basis to work around (prove, disprove, etc.), but it's a great place to catch up on most of the lore available!
So the interesting thing with the whole “FNAF 4 is a dream” theory is that it was basically all but confirmed by the creator that that was the original intent and was meant to be the end of the story but the enormous fan backlash at the time kinda forced him to change it and continue the story
Being scooped is... exactly what it sounds like. Remember how the risk in fnaf 1 was getting stuffed INTO a suit? Yeah... now imagine the exact OPPOSITE.
Security Breach is by far the most controversial game, since Scott Cawthon, fnaf's creator finished ultimate custom night, he put SteelWool Studios in charge of making the games (with his supervision and direction) and they delivered Help Wanted, the VR game with bridges to a new story But security breach ended up having a troubled development, with steelwool making the map way too big costing them plenty development time, and despite the delays, they had to cut some key aspects of the game (mostly story related) to deliver it in time The game ended up a buggy mess with possibly the most convoluted narrative ever seen in the franchise, which left fana from all sides of the fandom quite frustrated The game has seen many improvements, with some bug fixes, re adding some minor deleted content, and a free DLC that will (hopefully) release soon Not only that, but they just released on switch, at 1/10 of the original file size and somehow better graphics than the ps5 version
disc and disk are actually two different things: first one is any object that resembles a disk. And disk is a computer term used for technology, like removeable media such as DVD, CD and etc.
Of the restaurants, we've: Fredbear's Family Diner, the 3 Freddy Fazbear's Pizzas The fnaf 1 building with unwithered animatronics circa '83-85, Fnaf 2's location in 87 with brief Toys, And back to Fnaf 1's building with the bots refurbished. There's Circus Baby's Pizza World (later Entertainment & Rentals) in SL, Fnaf 3's Fazbear Frights horror attraction, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place in Fnaf 6/Pizzeria Simulator, And the Mega Pizzaplex in SB.
Ok, so I've never played a single FNAF game, but from what I know from Game Theory: (The 2 spaces they gave you for names are for name and last name, not 2 names lol) 1. FNAF 2 animatronics are unclear if they are possessed or not 2. The bite of 87 is a mess and a mystery and only Scott Cawthon and Jesus Christ know what happened there :) 3. The Sister Location timeline placement is debatable... like most of the questions lol 4. "How dark is this?! Omg!" ... yes. 5. To answer your crisis: Sister Location ends with Michael being lured to a room where a machine literally scoops out his insides and the animatronics combined in the form of Ennard take control of the body and basically wear it as a rotting meat suit :) 6. I mean... all of those things do happen in FNAF 6 intro lol, dark freddy multiplicates like a virus, the game "crashes" and then you are in a room alone with Scrap Baby before the actual intro cut scene 7. There are 2 souls in Golden Freddy: Crying child and Cassidy (the vengeful spirit) 8. Illusion disc is correct but I think they wanted a plural answer lol Also, everything with the lore in this series is debatable so you can argue you could have gotten more right😂
The elizabeth one is wrong, Charlie possesses the puppet (the only animatronic in fnaf 2 to be possessed) and Elizabeth possesses circus baby. I'm not sure about the books cos I haven't read all of them but according to the games and my knowledge they are different souls in different animatronics
Matt saying "Do people not like security Breach?" I think a lot of people wanted to like it but the two main issues are 1) Issues with the actual game on release that made the playing experience bad due to bugs/glitches. And 2) the actual story was so poorly put together that while it might have been compelling, it was just lost in translation and became too messy to be enjoyable.
The "Sister Location; Past or Future' question is so mean!! Because it's kinda both! It takes place in the future, as in after the bite of 83, but it takes place in the past as in before Michael dies and goes Fazbear location to Fazbear location!!
Regarding question 9: "Mangle did the bite? But people said it was Foxy" Earlier, question 6: Matthew learned that Mangle was the name of a broken Foxy
the funniest part of this is how uncertain a lot of these lore details actually are, some of them are completely unconfirmed but are listed as the answers
8:52 Seriously, how long ago was this quiz made? We play as Michael Afton when we are in the bedroom. And Crying Child in the mini games between nights.
theres not even concrete lore so before ive even watched the video i dont imagine this going well 6:04 the puppet is real you can see its reflection in the water its not a hallucination
Game years: 1 is 1993 (paycheck), 2 is 1987 (paycheck), 3 is 2023 (30 years after 1), 4 is 1983 (8-bit TV), SL's placement is a big mystery, but 6 onwards (UCN, HW, SD, SB) are after 3.
I’m a hardcore fnaf fan, i have been since game 1’s launch, when I was about 7 or 8 years old, all the way to now as an 18 year old, I love seeing new people try to guess things about the games haha, especially lately the lore has been WILD, but it’s always been unconventional and built a whole horror gaming genre on its own, I have so much respect and love for it as someone who wants to get into the gaming industry and as a hardcore fan. Also, if you were curious about how Sister Location ends, Michael gets scooped and the animatronics steal his skin to go back into the outside world after being underground for so long. I also don’t think this quiz counted book trilogy lore because Golden Freddy probably would’ve been the first, since in the books, Charlie Emily (the girl whos spirit possesses the puppet) explains how her she believes her twin brother was killed at the very first Freddy’s location, but very long story short, she’s the one who died, her dead father’s buisness partner, William Afton, killed her and the version of her within the books is a robot which has different versions for each stage of her life, to make her appear human.
14:27 There is no way you just thought of that- the many cuts, the suspicious tone of voice, you had to of googled it SURELY if not i think you are legitimately god-
8:23 this quiz is so outdated. It isn't a dream. Michael Afton is being tortured by his dad. His dad is using animatronics with sound disks that warp a person's perception. Hence why the animatronics in FNaF 4 are so nightmarish.
A major problem I’m noticing with this quiz is it’s usage of generally assumed and unconfirmed information in the series. Some of the questions are based on theories so questions like “who did the bite of 87?” “are the toy animatronics haunted?” and especially “is FNaF 4 a dream?” (where the answer in the quiz is literally idk) are all bad questions because they are subject to interpretation
Even if you watched every game theory, fnaf icebergs explained and lore breakdown you still wouldn't know the lore, we've been here for years and still can't figure out the lore

The most glaring one being WE HAVE NO IDEA WHO CAUSED THE BITE OF ‘87!
The bite of 87 was Foxy, right? Foxy bit an employee, and they had to remove his frontal lobe because of the damage. As phone guy says in night one of the first game: "It's amazing hoe the human body can live without the frontal lobe."
I think the bite of 83 was Fredbear. As we see in the FNAF 4 minigames, this kid's older brothers were messing with him, and accidentally got his head crushed in his gnawing mouth. Am I right about these?
As a hardcore fan, this was a rollercoaster of emotion
Also getting scooped means getting your organs getting scooped out by a machine that takes remnant aka souls
I think this just confused him more
@@imgonnaputsomedirtinureyedabs fr
Some of the "correct" anwsers made me confused. There were some that are either not confirmed already proven false.
I passed out at “I don’t know who William Afton is”
Technically pink man because he was more fat and plump like William was described
The purple guy would be Dave Miller because thereby thin and Dress like night guards
Dave Miller is The identity William Uses so the angry parents won't crucify him and he won't have to pay his taxes
It's from the books but I think it's cannon because it makes sense I mean sure he was never convicted but they kind of knew he did it And they live in a small town and people don't take Is kindly to people who hurt kids
9:38 you were actually correct on this one. The quiz is probably dated and it is now accepted that sister location takes place before the original 3 games
I mean a lot of things take place before 3 it's literally in our future still
And I think it takes place around the 1st game cause Michael is still Probably a young adult
But I'm pretty sure Is the 2nd game takes place Before because Michael simply wasn't old enough to resemble William
William would logically be in his thirties because then he would In his forties in the nineties And that says older we wanted because if he was any older he would probably be a bit too weak to rip apart robots Also I don't think hes ever described with Gray hair in the graphic novel and I don't see why his physical appearance would be different despite them taking place in a different time line
I don't see a teenager looking a lot like a 30 year old but seeing a 20 year old a decade later you could probably mistaken for his 30 year old father if you were slightly Insane and locked up for years
Believe me, Mathew, as someone who has been a fan of FNAF for almost 10 years, i also don't completely know the lore 😭

@@Ashurman666 Oh there are 2 bites?
@@lunadelua4335 More than 2 in fact. You have the bite of 83 which is the one we see in FNAF 4, the bite of 87 which is only mentioned and we don't know much about and one that happened in Pizzeria Sim. According to one of the lawsuits you see in that game, the male child's head is bitten by the unidentified animatronic and suffered severe injuries, but his frontal lobe remained connected to his brain. Despite this, the doctors are unsure how long the frontal lobe will remain that way.
*"The scooper. It sounds like something you would use for ice cream or custard or sprinkles.”*
*“It sounds like something you would want at your birthday party to ensure that you get a heaping portion of every good thing.
Seriously, it felt like everyone had their own take on who could've done it
my man really woke up and chose confusion
Yh I would have chose Mangle but nahh that quiz did him dirty with the fan theory
🥲
SL has to take place before fnaf 2 even

As someone pretty well versed in the FNAF lore,
Good luck, you'll need it.
1. I think the name ones had two options for first name and then last name, not two people
2. “This whole thing is about killing kids?!” “William afton is messed up” he’s learning lol
I was a fan of FNAF a few years ago and I thought I forgot all the lore but this video proved that I still remember EVERYTHING💀
No goes.
I mean, TECHNICALLY the Toy animatronics aren't haunted so yes that's relevant. But yeah the bite of 87 is just...world building I guess.
Then why do all the other games act like there's only one MCI?
@@eclipsedarksouls6036 i think it's because the first mci is the only one people care about lmao
4:54 misconception, that is the bite of 83 that those 4 kids do that in fnaf 4
Bite of 87 is from fnaf 2 were the security guard gets bitten by mangle or balloon boy

As stated by others, this quiz is both incorrect and outdated in some of its answers. Some things were retconned after the release of certain games.
I like how so many of the questions were not even close to being confirmed things, yet they decided to provide explanations for only some of them.
Don’t worry matthew, as an active fnaf fan, I have a stroke every time I hear about the lore. You can’t say something is wrong when it’s all JUST A THEORY
Well great, now I want a series of Mat reacting to MatPats latest FNAF timelines just to see his thoughts about all the crazy shit that happens there
watching Mathew type in 2 different people's names when there are 2 boxes (one for first name and one for last name) every single time is so on brand 💀💀
i think the question at 15:15 is cool because the original 4 are based off of a story of a robbery of a restaurant, and the only person who survived is who chica is based off of. its also the reason that the kitchen has no cameras because that was where she was. so she was the first (and the only) to get out alive, and the one that has seen everything.
If I know anything about FNAF lore, it's that it would be impossible to put a lore quiz together because no one actually knows any of the lore of these games. Like to the point where every time a lore book is released, the fanbase immediately says it's terrible and mostly wrong.
Watching him slowly piece together the lore is hilarious! 😂
This guys really did a FNAF quiz with instict. Way to go Matt, you're doing great. 🤣

I never saw someone catch the vibe of a game so quickly and accurately before. You're a king. Congrats on your 50%, you passed.
Oh Matthew, if we had to make a quiz based only on explicitly confirmed information, the quiz would've ended after the first question
And I will admit Pizza Sim and UCN are a pretty good ending point
If, for some unknown reason, you felt compelled to get into Fnaf Lore I'd suggest either Rye Toast's Ultimate Pre Help Wanted Timeline videos, or Game Theories Ultimate Timeline videos.
Once again though this all presuming you want to do a lore deep dive instead of say taking more lore quizzes on other things you've reacted to just to see how crazy the lore in those shows/games/etc play(The answer is always: more insane than you think)
No matter what though I enjoyed the change up!
Keep making the videos that you prefer to make and remember: Phantom Foxy's hook hand has gone astray

just wait till you hear about the mpreg story in the books
I can't get over the fact that he could've gotten some of them right if he'd just separated the words into the two blanks 😭
On a more serious note though, you did surprisingly well.

Since the quiz is faulty here's the right answers

2. True, by the 5 victims of the MCI (missing children incident)
3. False, there's been at least 4 before
4. Mike Schmidt
5. Night 4
6. Mangle
7. Withered animatronics are possessed and view you as a threat, toys haven't been confirmed but theories cover the first 3 options, most of fnaf 2 we don't play as Michael but rather as Jeremy Fitzgerald, besides Purple Guy is only banned from the pizzeria on later nights
8. Debatable but I believe yes as there's a series of murders in that location and after it the toy animatronics start acting differently when meeting adults
9. Debatable but there’s most evidence against Mangle (Foxy, Freddy and Toy Chica are suspects too)
10. Charlotte “Charlie” Emily
11. True, others are phantoms
12. A haunted house amusement park/museum thing
13. There's two sets of minigames, the post night minigames telling how William Afton became Springtrap and the secret minigames setting the souls to rest
14. Both option one and three out of these although we can debate on are these even hallucinations or rather something else
15. Michael Afton although it isn't 100% confirmed and in 2 we also play as Jeremy Fitzgerald
16. 1983
17. Debatable but according to recent books it's a hallucination experiment
18. Fredbear is the animatronic the plushie is of but the toy itself is usually called Psychic Friend Fredbear or Plushie Fredbear
19. Implied to be so but this too doesn't have a confirmed answer and can be debated
20. The Bite of ‘83
21. Past, the designs look more modern but for Michael to be the guard/player in other games Sister Location needs to be before fnaf 2
22. True, in an ending monologue he says “father (William Afton), it's me, Michael”
23. Afton Robotics, LLC, William Afton's own company with animatronics designed to kill kids although the quiz is lost in the timeline as there's evidence in games that CBPW existed before MCI
24. Circus Baby, “helps” since at the end she tricks the player and kills him
25. The player getting scooped, the scooper is designed to take out animatronic endoskeletons, if used on humans, it'll take their organs out
26. True, 3 was supposed to be the last as well as 4, Pizzeria Sim, UCN, Security Breach and Help Wanted 2

44. True, into a bot, only in the novel trilogy
45. True, only in novel trilogy, in games only Elizabeth is in Circus Baby while Charlie's in the Puppet
46. Fnaf 4 (1983), SL (for Michael to be in the other games he has to go to CBER first), Fnaf 2 (1987), Fnaf 1 (1993), Fnaf 3 (2023), FFPS (2023), HW (years after FFPS), SD (references events of HW), SB, HW2, Ruin
This is way too long, my fingers are dying from typing this.
Ok 9:38 you got the answer right... if by past, before 2023, its kinda difficult to describe it further but you were right
Being scooped is... exactly what it sounds like. Remember how the risk in fnaf 1 was getting stuffed INTO a suit? Yeah... now imagine the exact OPPOSITE.

*matpat furiously wrighting notes*
as a matpat fan i think u should watch his fnaf timeline theories to learn more!
Security Breach is by far the most controversial game, since Scott Cawthon, fnaf's creator finished ultimate custom night, he put SteelWool Studios in charge of making the games (with his supervision and direction) and they delivered Help Wanted, the VR game with bridges to a new story
But security breach ended up having a troubled development, with steelwool making the map way too big costing them plenty development time, and despite the delays, they had to cut some key aspects of the game (mostly story related) to deliver it in time
The game ended up a buggy mess with possibly the most convoluted narrative ever seen in the franchise, which left fana from all sides of the fandom quite frustrated
The game has seen many improvements, with some bug fixes, re adding some minor deleted content, and a free DLC that will (hopefully) release soon
Not only that, but they just released on switch, at 1/10 of the original file size and somehow better graphics than the ps5 version
Why do the animatronics attack you in fnaf 2?
Him: "facial recognition scammer stuff"
Are they haunted?
Him: "yes"

"What"
8:33 out of technicality all are correct
Scott said dream theory was correct but thought the fans would be disappointed so he scrapped it
disc and disk are actually two different things: first one is any object that resembles a disk. And disk is a computer term used for technology, like removeable media such as DVD, CD and etc.
Of the restaurants, we've:
Fredbear's Family Diner, the 3 Freddy Fazbear's Pizzas
The fnaf 1 building with unwithered animatronics circa '83-85,
Fnaf 2's location in 87 with brief Toys,
And back to Fnaf 1's building with the bots refurbished.
There's Circus Baby's Pizza World (later Entertainment & Rentals) in SL,
Fnaf 3's Fazbear Frights horror attraction,
Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place in Fnaf 6/Pizzeria Simulator,
And the Mega Pizzaplex in SB.
Ok, so I've never played a single FNAF game, but from what I know from Game Theory:
(The 2 spaces they gave you for names are for name and last name, not 2 names lol)
1. FNAF 2 animatronics are unclear if they are possessed or not
2. The bite of 87 is a mess and a mystery and only Scott Cawthon and Jesus Christ know what happened there :)
3. The Sister Location timeline placement is debatable... like most of the questions lol
4. "How dark is this?! Omg!" ... yes.
5. To answer your crisis: Sister Location ends with Michael being lured to a room where a machine literally scoops out his insides and the animatronics combined in the form of Ennard take control of the body and basically wear it as a rotting meat suit :)
6. I mean... all of those things do happen in FNAF 6 intro lol, dark freddy multiplicates like a virus, the game "crashes" and then you are in a room alone with Scrap Baby before the actual intro cut scene
7. There are 2 souls in Golden Freddy: Crying child and Cassidy (the vengeful spirit)
8. Illusion disc is correct but I think they wanted a plural answer lol
Also, everything with the lore in this series is debatable so you can argue you could have gotten more right😂
Heck yea, I was cheering everytime u got one right even though I knew the answer 💀
Matt saying "Do people not like security Breach?"
I think a lot of people wanted to like it but the two main issues are 1) Issues with the actual game on release that made the playing experience bad due to bugs/glitches. And 2) the actual story was so poorly put together that while it might have been compelling, it was just lost in translation and became too messy to be enjoyable.
“If a blind man takes a true or false quiz, he’ll get 50% right.”
The "Sister Location; Past or Future' question is so mean!! Because it's kinda both! It takes place in the future, as in after the bite of 83, but it takes place in the past as in before Michael dies and goes Fazbear location to Fazbear location!!
Just so you know, the scoop option was the correct one for the sister location ending question
Regarding question 9: "Mangle did the bite? But people said it was Foxy"
Earlier, question 6: Matthew learned that Mangle was the name of a broken Foxy
the funniest part of this is how uncertain a lot of these lore details actually are, some of them are completely unconfirmed but are listed as the answers
4:40 the bite of 87 doesn’t have a confirmed animatronic
19:40 in order to pass you need at least a 70% lol but you did rlly well :)
8:52 Seriously, how long ago was this quiz made? We play as Michael Afton when we are in the bedroom. And Crying Child in the mini games between nights.
theres not even concrete lore so before ive even watched the video i dont imagine this going well
6:04 the puppet is real you can see its reflection in the water its not a hallucination
10:54 A person getting their organs violently ripped out and used as a skin suit
Game years: 1 is 1993 (paycheck), 2 is 1987 (paycheck), 3 is 2023 (30 years after 1), 4 is 1983 (8-bit TV),
SL's placement is a big mystery, but 6 onwards (UCN, HW, SD, SB) are after 3.
"How dark is this!?!"
Very, we're just desensitised to it, there's like 2 kindergartens worth of dead kids constantly suffering.
“I don’t see how you could make someone hallucinate as part of the attraction” Oh, you sweet summer child…
10:52 It's because, dummy, this is the room where they use the Scooper. I thought that would be obvious.
I’ve been WAITING For some more fnaf
As a person who knows legit almost everything about FNAF, been a fan of it for 6 years, this was interesting to watch
11:26 Steelwool made security breach not scott so the last fnaf game would be pizzaria sim
14:27 There is no way you just thought of that-
the many cuts, the suspicious tone of voice, you had to of googled it SURELY
if not i think you are legitimately god-
I really hope it's only a matter of time until Matthew checks out "Dan vs"
Even if you watched every game theory, fnaf icebergs explained and lore breakdown you still wouldn't know the lore, we've been here for years and still can't figure out the lore
oh... i just realized it's scooping as in ice cream scoop. oh i hate that a lot.....
