I've been following you for years, your dedication to Wudang has been so inspiring to me on my Kung Fu Journey. I too wish to train on the mountain and learn Baguazhang. I have plans and am saving up to spend a year there through the website. I've learned a lot from my local wushu school and your videos already so I'm pretty sure I am prepared. I would love to meet you there in person and train under you, Shifu.
Very inspiring video...Wudang Chi Kung..and philosophy medicine..will be very much needed ..in the coming years..as everything is crumbling now....in US..Canada too...the elderly abd youth would benefit greatly...their health has degenerated...sadly...the food..institutions..lack of exercise...joy...You will know when the time is right...
It is so lovely to know something of your story, your successes, your beautiful family, the love of Taoist culture and spirituality and of course Wudangshan which is jaw dropping lay harmonious. Thank you.
That’s very inspiring, Jake! Great job! Could you give some advice on where to start on a Kung fu journey for an active Olympic fencer who wants to learn jian? Would you recommend Shaolin or Wudang in terms of variety and complexity of sword forms? Thank you ☺️
Wudang is more known for the sword system. Shaolin has a lot of animals styles and focuses more on broadsword. I think the Wudang straight sword (jian) would be a great practice to add to your repertoire.
Beautiful, especially in these times...
