personally i think 2017 was the best year for nintendo just ever, they got botw, the switch, new mario game, and just so much, the switch became the most sold console, its basically a wii, everyone and their moms had/have it
yeah exactly! The switch is already so iconic and I also think that 2017 is slightly better than mainly 2022 and 2023 (which in my opinion are the best years besides 2017)
From Kirby return to dreamland deluxe to mario bros wonder to RPG to PWIKMWIN! (especially Pikmin) It's been a really good year. Idk if I would call it the best year, but it sure was a damn good one😼
2023 was an excellent year for Nintendo in my opinion. They showed so many quality games and other crazy media. I think 2024 is gonna be extremely well for Nintendo. Or not because they will release the Wii U 2 🗿
Yes, I think Princess Peach Showtime and the various remakes will be the highlights for this year which is a drastic downgrade compared to 2023, but that's understandable! :)
It was a great year for the Console, but a meh year for Nintendo. Barely any first party games made the top 10 Switch releases of the year - and in a year when Nintendo released Tears of the Kingdom, FE: Engage, Mario Wonder etc, it's kinda worrying. The great news for us gamers is that there are thousands of amazing titles for us.

After being spoiled in 2023 I have a feeling this year is gonna be super dry with it prob being the switch's last full year before the next console.
