    Powerful tires come in handy when refilling the blinker fluid👍

    Our 2019 with 77k miles has been basically trouble free. You don’t buy a wrangler because you want an SUV like everyone else. You know what you get.

    Power while driving in 2H is purposefully nuked so you don't spin the tires, use 4HA for all torque at launch. Premium gas only recommended when towing otherwise 87 all day.

      I know the dealer said Premium for fuel on this particular model....but I also know that the other models...not 4Xe ....it's only regular fuel like you said...so good catch.

    best review I've seen on this car. I agree with your overall assessment. Too much $$$$ for what you get!

    • @talkingwithcars
      @talkingwithcars  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks ! I wish it was a little less expensive but I see what the dealer is doing. They are pushing the leases so they have stock in a couple years.

      @@talkingwithcars I can confirm that the lease on this car is far more attractive…was at the dealer today…$1000 down and about $750/month for 36 months…on a car with an MSRP of $74,000…if I was a serious buyer I’m sure I could have squeezed them for more

    You forget about the power box that export 3.6 kilowatt to power up your house Fridge & TV etc, most vehicle doesn't do that like the German imports, that comes with the Rubicon x 4xe ( the power box with 4 120 volt plug at 30 amps + USB ports)👍🏾👍🏾

    • @talkingwithcars
      @talkingwithcars  ปีที่แล้ว

      Very true....with this type of technology, you can power up a house or a small TV for a small bit....but you will be using that valuable energy up for something other than the Jeep :) Good point!

      @@talkingwithcars The Jeep engineer says you can use your Jeep as a generator to power a lot of things, when the battery goes low it will automatically turn on the engine to continue power your house, tools, your electric grill at the camp site etc👍🏾👍🏾

      As of August 6th the power box is no longer listed as standard on the Sport S and Willys trims, and there are mixed messages from Jeep about whether they will even be compatible (i.e. whether or not they come with the new bi-directional IDCM).

  • @johnwickpick8621
    @johnwickpick8621 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I dont get why you cant get Nav on this trim. Its not an option on jeeps website like the Rubicon you can.
    I like built in Nav cause dont always have cell service on phone.

    • @talkingwithcars
      @talkingwithcars  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Are you 100% sure? If that’s the case, that’s sad…..nav should be a standard option on all cars at this point. I know 90% of the population uses cell phones and apps like WAZE and GOOGLE and they work on GPS not cell phone service

    • @johnwickpick8621
      @johnwickpick8621 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @talkingwithcars Not 100 sure no but haven't seen one on a jeep lot or you tube or on jeep site with a Nav for Willys. That strange the android auto dont use cell towers cause I sometimes can't get service for GPS with the phone

      @@johnwickpick8621 I guess it's worth investigating with Jeep. I'll see if I can reach out to someone today

    Nice review. Can you do an electric range test for this one. I’m planning to get the 2024 willy 4xe but don’t know how the range would be with the bigger stock tires.

    • @talkingwithcars
      @talkingwithcars  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks. Not sure when I’ll get a chance to do a full long term test but maybe I’ll get my hands on one. Subscribe and stay tuned!

    Jeep needed to make it wider the wrangler like the Bronco make it easier to get in and out

    • @talkingwithcars
      @talkingwithcars  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes and include a nerf bar along with rocker guards !!

  • @andrewshenton6541
    @andrewshenton6541 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Way too much for what it is and you would think jeep would at least throw in a level 2 charger because it takes actually 13 to 14 hours for full charge on level one and don’t forget you need 240volts for level 2

    • @talkingwithcars
      @talkingwithcars  ปีที่แล้ว

      Like most of the plug in hybrids, you will have to either buy the adapter for level 2 charging or buy a new charging kit for that type of quick charging. Average cost is about $200-300 dollars

      It’s unreal. Actually more when you’re done with taxes etc. they are pushing the lease program back then. Not sure about now

    Drive it in 4hi auto it will feel faster. It’s limited in 2wd in first and second gear.

    As per description it looks like a cumbersome vehicle to own. I can not imagine the electrical nightmare and expenses involved when it breaks down. I think I will opt staying away from this model and stick to gas.

    • @talkingwithcars
      @talkingwithcars  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does have a good warranty on the electrical systems so I wouldn’t be very worried about it to be honest. Its more likely you’d sell it before anything happens. But I totally understand.

    Esave mode charging the engine. Don’t use premium, check the gas cap. Not a jeep person delivering the facts

      Got all my info from the dealer...and this was my first impression which was a fact. Maybe you'll like the next review video better. It will be with someone who has been driving the car for a while. That will be my next version of new car videos....coming soon :) Happy Holidays!
