BBS RS BUILD IN 10 MINUTES (FROM JUNK TO NEW)

I had these 4 faces of BBS RS sitting for almost 5 years and couldn't figure out what to do with them since they were so damaged. I had no parts with them, only the faces. I decided to start building them 6 months ago, acquiring parts, fixing the issues by welding and machinning to finally have my dream set of wheels.
Faces are RS043 (30 bolts)
Step up kit from 15 to 16in
Outer Lips are 16x0.5
Inner Barrel are 16x6.0
1/3 billet hex
New BBS logo
New Bolt, Nuts and Valves

Excellent workmanship!! Wheels look great! Pretty sure the face of the wheel goes in-between the barrel and the lip… unless you’re looking to fit skinnier tires than usual

@@RichDasix Well, no to your no. You are now putting load on to the screws, without the support of the facias lip towards the barrel/rim. I believe most of the forces are going to work pushing the wheel out, towards the bolt heads.

I was wondering the same thing except about using welding as infill for the old bolt patterns. This is a good point though, I thought it looked funny but he's showing off his work by putting the centre on the outside so I respect that

Isn't the outer lip designed to go on the outside?
Isnt the bmw silver part supposed to be in between?

You can do it both ways with that outer lip/inner barrel kit

Always thought putting the inserts on front was only done on 2piece (replica's) rims.
Anyway is a creative way to change the ET-value and narrow the rims.

If you out the barrel then the face and on to lf the face you put the lip would look wayyyyy better
